Dear Moe and family,

Your heartache takes my breath away. I will carry you, and all of those parents who mourn their precious children, in my heart to Christ in the Mass every chance that I get. God bless you.

Hi an NORDAR! I know the difficulties of mental health issues. My son has OCD and when he first got it, it was horrible. He’s much better now (thank God). Depression and suicide runs in my family so I kind of know what you are going through. I, too, will pray for your son. Take care and give him to God everyday.

Praying for you always,
mom4truth:gopray:

Hi Moe,
How are you? I’m still here with you, you are still always in my prayers I pray for you all everyday at Mass. And now I will ask you a favor OK!

Would you keep my son Ryan in your prayers, he is Bi Polar and right now is having a really rough time. The meds he is on have stopped working (that happens some times), so he has to have them reajusted. We just got back from the hospital because he thought he was going to have to admit himself in the Pysch Ward. Only because his anger has gotten out of control in the past week, but because his depression is not debilitating and he is not suicidal (which he has been) they are going to try and reajust his meds from home. So please pray that will work.
**You can count on them. Also ask Ryan’s guardian angel for assistance …

Thank you for your prayers … God Be with you in this difficult time.

Love Moe**

Dear Moe and family,

Your heartache takes my breath away. I will carry you, and all of those parents who mourn their precious children, in my heart to Christ in the Mass every chance that I get. God bless you.
**Thank you - our pain is 24/7 … sadness is all around without our KK.

Thank you for your continued prayers … it is what sustains us right now 😦

Love Moe**

Hello,

You are still in my daily prayers. I have looked at the beautiful photos of your daughter. I think often of the last one you took of her where she was being silly and hiding her face with her hands. I cannot imagine the feelings and also the physical pain of emptiness. I am praying that Christ will help you carry this heavy cross. May God bless you.

Much love,
Monica
**Thank you Monica. I can bearly look at those pictures without feeling a knife enter into my heart … her friend took them when they were on their hike together. Two hours later she was gone 😦

It still is so hard without her … and the pain is so great. I miss her so much … and sadness prevails every where.

I don’t understand why she isn’t with us … it is just some horrible mistake … she should be here with us … and not gone.

Thank you so much for your prayers Monica … I truly believe all the prayers we are receiving is helping us get out of bed …I am so lonely without her.

She was perfection … she looked like me; was left handed like me; we sat next to each other a dinner - holding hands while we prayed … i just miss her so very much …

always,

Moe**

Moe,
Still praying here. Are you back at work fulltime? Parttime? Does it help at all? What books are you reading? Are they helping?
How are Greg and Amanda?
Just want you to know we’re holding you close to our hearts…
Love,
Lissa

Moe,

Hi Lissa:

Still praying here.

Please keep them coming … we need them more than ever …
Are you back at work fulltime? Parttime? Does it help at all?

Yes, I make it in full time. Although I am here physically – not always there mentally. It is really hard to get through the day … the pain is ever constant. I do offer it up daily though … I am hoping that some souls are being let free. I miss her and I literally ache for her. She was my baby.

What books are you reading? Are they helping?

**I am still reading:

• Saving Graces: Finding Solace and Strength from Friends and
Strangers by Elizabeth Edwards – they lost their 16 year old
son in a car accident …. Very good …

Three books by Henri J Nouwen:

• Life of the Beloved: Spiritual Living in a Secular World
• Turn My Mourning into Dancing
• The Dance of Life: Weaving Sorrows And Blessings into One
Joyful Step

And

• For Those We Love but See No Longer: Daily Offices for Times
of Grief , By: Lisa Belcher Hamilton

• Helping Children Grieve: When Someone They Love Dies
(Revised Edition) ; By: Theresa M. Huntley

• Grieving: A Beginner’s Guide; By: Jerusha Hull McCormack

Haven’t started reading them yet though. I still go back to reading Gregory Floyd’s – A Greif Unveiled … which is superb.**

How are Greg and Amanda?

**They went camping for two night this past weekend. I wasn’t up to it … they both are in to revolutionary war … so in Sarasota Springs – they had a reenactment … and they enjoyed it.

They tented … none of us has the strength of opening up our brand new camper we purchased last year. Our first trip in it was Williamsburg, VA. What a wonderful time we had … little did we know it would be our last full family vacation … it is so horrible living without her :crying: **
Just want you to know we’re holding you close to our hearts…

**Please keep it up … and have your wonderful children pray for us as well.

Thanks so much for keeping contact … you can’t imagine how helpful it is.

Love Moe (Amanda and KK’s Mom)!**Love,
Lissa

🙂 🙂 Dear Moe,

Still praying for you constantly. Question: have you gotten any flowers lately? Have you seen your daughter in a dream yet or had an special perception of her?

Love,

Hi All:

I am desperately asking for prayers from all of you … our daughter McKayla went to environmental camp on this past Monday - and we got a call that she passed out. When we finally drove three hours to see her at the hospital, she had already been commended into the arms of our heavenly Father.

We are heart broken. We had her wake last night - and over 1100 people attened … it was over six hours at the wake … we buried her today — the pain is too much to bear at times.

Please, our Catholic Answers Friends, keep the Geisinger’s in your prayers … McKayla is our heavenly angel that left us for a better place … but we are left with hearts that are broken.

Please keep her Sister Amanda in your prayers … she is only a year older than her sister - they were like twins and best friends. We are beside ourselves.

Her funeral was amazing though … and she has been an instrument in bringing many people to Christ … for this we are grateful.

Please keep the Geisinger’s in your prayers … we miss her terribly and our hearts are just so very sad 😦 Ask God to help us pick up the pieces … our communities and the schools have been amazing and it has been such a humbling experience!

God’s Peace,

Moe Geisinger
My condolences to your family. I cannot begin to contemplate the suffering you are going through. May you find peace and comfort in Christ the King.

**MOM4TRUTH - THANK YOU. Why do you ask if I got flowers lately? Amanda picked a bunch for me on Friday - before her and Greg left for camping …

I did have a dream about her last night - but it was a dream when she was smaller … much smaller … like 5 years old. I find myself overwhelmed with looking at her pictures when she was younger … the wave of grief is gigantic.

Not sure why that is… my dream was just snap shots of her … and she didn’t say anything … and again she was five …

What do you mean by a ‘special perception’? I can tell you the last four days have been very bad … it is like I have stepped backwards … I can’t stop thinking of her - not that I have not a single minute in the 20 weeks … but my grief has magnified … I am just a wreck … more so than usually…

PLEASE KEEP PRAYING … Thank you so much … Love Moe**

**Thank you so much … peace has not come yet … I pray, we pray for peace, but right now we are just missing her with every beat of our hearts.

Dear Moe,

The reason I asked if you have gotten any flowers lately is because I have been praying to St. Therese of the Little Flower and asked her to send you flowers so that you would be comforted in knowing your daughter is fine and that you will be too. I guess “she” gave you the sign. I have goosebumps. Also, in regards to “perceptions” I meant anything unusual that you have sensed about your daughter. I KNOW God knows everything you are going through and He and His Blessed Mother are grieving with you, but hold your daughter in the palm of their hands! Still praying for your peace of mind…it will come. Take care, hon.

I always thought that the little flower would send roses … Greg did bring me flower on Thurs of last week … but they were mums … yellow …

I have goosebumps.

Me tooooooo!

Also, in regards to “perceptions” I meant anything unusual that you have sensed about your daughter.

No - nothing … I want to feel her so badly … but nothing - someone today asked me if I was open to it and I said absolutely - but they thought perhaps I am in so much pain … I cry all the time 😦

I KNOW God knows everything you are going through and He and His Blessed Mother are grieving with you, but hold your daughter in the palm of their hands!

If he is such a loving Father, a loving God - why would he want us to feel the pain that we are feeling — which is unbelievably intense … doesn’t He know we pine for her - that I ache for her in my arms … I am a mother - doesn’t our Blessed Mother understand that??? Yet they just sit by and see us suffer. Greg, my husband, is extremely Angry and God … why would he allow him to be??? I am so confused!!!

Still praying for your peace of mind…it will come. Take care, hon.

Thank you … and please keep praying … my prayer warrior 😦

Dear Moe,
Yes St. Therese is known for roses, however, I asked her to send you flowers (I didn’t specifiy roses). I don’t question the flowers you received, I know they are an answer to all our prayers for you. As far as the Blessed Mother and our Lord allowing your pain: who’s to say why? Maybe God took her out of this world so that she wouldn’t endure some other horrible experience in her life. There are no explanations. But God did allow his only Son to suffer and Jesus’ Mother also was pierced by a sword (through her heart). You already know all this. All I’m trying to say is that
pain comes to all of us, unfortunately. I, too, have intense physical and spiritual (mental) pain. The ONLY thing that gets me through each day is our Dear Lord. I believe he has put you in my life to give me a sign that He is near me, because sometimes I feel as if I’m going through the dark night of the soul. But I keep hanging in there. It’s all for Jesus.

Take care and I’ll keep praying!

Love,

Judi:(

Ahhh Moe! I’m so glad you finally got your dream you’ve been waiting for! I know it’s not exactly what you hoped for, but it’s something. Maybe that’s how God wants you to remember her. He wants you to know that she’s completely innocent and child-like in Heaven with Him.

I’m not an expert on grief and I’ve never experienced anything close to this, but I think the anger with God is so very normal. Of course, you shouldn’t give in to those feelings, but it’s a totally normal human reaction to things that are beyond our understanding. How could we ever understand this? But unfortunately, death is just a part of our lives and we will all experience it at one time or another. But praise God, we have such a wonderful reward waiting for us! The passage in my sig line really inspires me when I’m struggling with life. We can’t even fathom what is waiting for us. For all this pain and suffering we must endure, Jesus has the greatest consolation prize waiting in the end for us.

I will pray for God to help you and your family with your anger, and most importantly for Him to give you peace.

Thanks Be To God … Amen!
AMEN!

He said that he needs to take antibiotics every time he goes to the dentist and he doesn’t expect things to change much within the next year.

Why is that? I had heard something like this before … but I can’t remember why.
It is b/c there are particular bacteria in the mouth that have a special affinity for the heart tissue. Therefore he is particularly at risk for a potenially lethal heart infection.
Oh wonderful Lori … you all must be relieved … God is good …
God is good, very good. I read about how Greg is angry at God, though. I just wanted to say that’s OK. I’ll be praying for him. I’m sure it may take awhile for the anger to subside. I’ve heard how much strain a death of a child can put on a marriage. Your marriage (as well as Amanda) is also in my prayers and daily offerings.

There is so much truth to that Lori … the pain in some strange ways connects me to her … and my deep pain also shows just how much I love her … and miss her … as any parent would their child.

The pain is so fresh still.
I can’t imagine what you’re going through. But please know that God isn’t just sitting by at watching you suffer. He’s reaching out to you. Through your friends, family McKayla’s friends and I’m sure your entire community. And also a community that we can’t see in Heaven. I wish I could make everything better. But my ways are so far away from God’s ways and in time He will make everything better.

Dear Moe,
It’s 7:00 am here and I am thinking of you and your family and praying for all of you! Please, hang in there!

Love,
Judi
