How about Harris, Bumenthau (sp), Gillibrand and I think there were others. They may have said that they THINK he is guilty.

Without the numbers, your assertion in answer to @Jeanne_S proposition has no foundation. There is probably no statistic on that.

What do you think she meant by her bigoted remarks? Shut up? Step up?JonNC:![]()
Has she declared the judge guilty? That was the question. How about the overt sexist from Hawaii who said men should “shut up”?
If Kavanaugh’s nomination fizzles and President Donald Trump has to name a replacement, Hirono says he better find someone whom she considers less of a conservative ideologue, or else prepare for Senate Democrats—especially if they win a majority in November’s elections—to keep the court seat vacant until after the 2020 election.
That is the Presidential vote. That goes far beyond “identifying with [Dems] in the slightest way”, which is what we have been talking about. You know the numbers.
But I don’t see it getting better. Most under 35 don’t go to church and each day more become eligible to vote as they turn voting age.it’s almost certainly less than half. Not good, but not as bad as it could be.
This is another typical American politician who doesn’t know what she is talking about. Or take another American politician Jackie Speier who says that Christine Ford, by speaking out, is doing a great thing for all American women and all Americans. She apparently is forgetting about the fact that therapists have elicited numerous false stories from their patients, thereby ruining the reputations of the person accused and his family. It looks like more dirty American politics. How about the overt sexist from Hawaii who said men should “shut up”?
Take note that I’ve said nothing disparaging about Ford. But when a politician says roughly half the population should shut up, yeah, I find her sexist bigotry appalling.JonNC:![]()

If this is true, it means, the 4th witness (4 people including Kav if I have this narrative correct), a woman, Keyser has come forward and has no recollection of this.Guy Benson Verified account @ guypbenson 51m51 minutes ago
Hearing that the other woman at the alleged party (the one missing witness, as identified by the accuser) has come forward & says she doesn’t know Kavanaugh & has no recollection of attending any party that he did. Four alleged witnesses. All four do not corroborate her story.
https://ktvq.com/cnn-us-politics/20...-committee-contacts-fords-friend-about-party/On Saturday night, her lawyer, Howard Walsh, released a statement to CNN and the Senate Judiciary Committee…
“Simply put,” Walsh said, “Ms. Keyser does not know Mr. Kavanaugh and she has no recollection of ever being at a party or gathering where he was present, with, or without, Dr. Ford.”
The lawyer acknowledged to CNN that Keyser is a lifelong friend of Ford’s.
Thanks for the courage to stand pretty much alone.Take note that I’ve said nothing disparaging about Ford.
You have a point, but presumably also know that that this was a more rhetorical flourish, than literal demand. But when a politician says roughly half the population should shut up, yeah, I find her sexist bigotry appalling.
In other words, you cannot really trust what American politicians are saying because some of it is codswallop?this was a more rhetorical flourish, than literal demand.
She targeted it at men. I don’t intend to shut up, literally or rhetorically. You have a point, but presumably also know that that this was a more rhetorical flourish, than literal demand.
That’s pretty much the case of all countries where politicians must seek re-election.dvdjs:![]()

Do you intend to listen? She targeted it at men. I don’t intend to shut up, literally or rhetorically.
