Are you putting yourself forward as an expert on what is possible for the FBI to find out? We ought to let the experts do their job and not second-guess them.
 
I just saw Judge Janine Piro address this.The FBI doesn’t investigate local incidents for one thing and certainly not after this many yeats.The allegations are cloudy at best.This is just an attempt to stall thevKavenaugh appointment .It really is all about abortion rights and pure visceral hatred of Trump

It may have been a moment of purely local interest at the time it happened, but it is of national importance now that Kavanaugh is nominated to sit on the highest court in the land for life. The FBI would certainly have an interest in investigating it now. The fact that it happened many years ago certainly makes the investigation harder, but I don’t think you can say it is impossible.

It’s pretty obvious whT this is all about at least to those of us who don’t have on blinders.And no thecFBI has said they are not going to investigate.Much to your disappointment and the Dems as as a whole

I’m not the one proposing impeachment of a president and a justice for political reasons.
I’m not the one trying to undermine the electoral college, or the legitimate election of a president.
Further, conservatives do not talk up the constitution like it is the Bible. It isn’t God’s written word. The constitution is a legal document. It isn’t living or evolving.
Weaponizing the impeachment process to overthrow a duly elected president for political reasons is blowing up the constitution,whether or not constitutional processes are used.

The Bethesda police should be the authority to investigate. They have jurisdiction

Because it has to do with power, not defending women. Had the Democrats wanted to defend women, they would have honored Ford’s request of anonymity. They outed her for their political reasons. If this had been about an alleged sexual assault, Feinstein would have brought it up during the hearings, not after.
Further, the charge that Kavanaugh is a sexual predator with absolutely no evidence whatsoever is character assassination and denies him the basic constitutional principles of due process and presumption of innocence.
 
I understand that the term has many meanings, and that the hats do include a reference to Trump’s use of hte the term to refer to a female body part that he recommends grabbing.

The idea, I think, is to seize the term from misogynists, and repurposed in a different way it against them.

No. The term hs many meanings and the hat promotes a benign meaning in defiance of the one that Trump is famous for.

First she ruins his reputation, then after the filthy mud has been thrown and landed on Kavanaugh, she says that she is not sure if it is true or not. Is this how American politics works?

As it stands now, Dr. Christine Blasey-Ford has refused to testify in front of Congress to publicly declare her allegations against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh are true. Ford is demanding that the FBI investigate the incident first, in order to have all relevant information available.

The only problem is that the FBI has denied her request on multiple occasions over the last 24 hours, as the Federal Bureau of Investigation has never been in the business of spending American taxpayer money to look into the sexual behavior of high school kids in the early 1980’s.
