Wow easy for you to sit back and determine rhat his life hasn’t been destroyed. Such lack of compassion for the sake of political partisanship is just stunning!
Please don’t attribute motives to me. It is not only unfounded, but a violation of forum guidelines.
Let’s see in a year or two how Kavanuagh is doing, and we’ll see just what has been destroyed.

Lack of evidence and corroborating witnesses?
And a boatload of other things. I am not sure why lying under oath is not taking seriously.
Where’s the proof he’s lying? I have to confess, the wonderful ambiguity of the charges against him is brilliant. He says he drank in high school and college. Somebody else says he drank a lot in high school and college. Now Kavanaugh is lying because some drunk high school kid qualified the amount Kavanaugh drank differently from how Kavanaugh qualified it. And even better yet, both qualifications are completely subjective. It’s a perfect trap.

Lack of evidence and corroborating witnesses?
Why the question mark? I suspect that with the evidence at hand there is not chance of a criminal conviction. But with the evidence at hand, there is no consensus about anything being “blown”.
Where’s the proof he’s lying?
Let’s see what the FBI, who are interviewing witnesses, has to say.

Why the question mark?
Because under the new legal paradigm for sexual assault, a lack of evidence is the most compelling evidence.
Let’s see what the FBI, who are interviewing witnesses, has to say.
What proof can a witness from nearly 4 decades ago provide that Kavanaugh misqualified his subjective assessment of his late teenaged drinking habits? Again, I marvel at the ingenuity of these allegations. There is no way to prove that Kavanaugh lied, only that a couple of acquaintances from 4 decades ago, who were drinking at the time, remember some detail differently.

She said an event happened but refuses to provide corroborating evidence.
Interesting: “refuses”.
Did she offer? When Kavanaugh didn’t call on Trump to start an FBI investigation on himself ( what kind of idiot does that), his attackers said h “refused”.
Do, yeah, she refuses.

You make a comment about Judge Kavanaugh’s life not being ruined. That’s unfounded and per usual you resort to quoting forum rules whenever you cannot defend your comments. Why am I not surprised🙄

There is no evidence for ruin. And there is no serious expectation of it, unless he is guilty.

I am not sure why you object my mention of forum?

You don’t think what the slime bag Dems have put him through has been ruinous? Seriously?
No worries re forum rules I will
Just start calling you out when ever feel
necessary as well re such rules

I’d make general statements; because people are sensitive sometimes.

But basically with Kavanaugh, we have nothing but “guilt by accusation”, it really isn’t worth debating that kind system, that is not the USA.

I can accuse my next door neighbor of stealing my lawnmower 30 years ago, what a joke that would be. There is nothing on Kavanaugh and going back 36 years?

Hey, underage drinking would seem to be illegal, I guess if one wants to accuse him of that, but there is not much and that would not be a disqualifier, having gone to college at a similar time, I’m surprised pot smoking has not come up because back then, maybe not all but it sure seems a lot of kids did it.

That Mitch Daniels became Governor of Indiana and I think it was actually known, he had some problems with drugs that were in fact, rather severe, one can look it up. I don’t want to gossip on him and state some basic matters wrongly.

Along with how is it? She doesn’t even know who he is. That would really convict someone in a court of law!
The Yale accuser also doesn’t know who he is.
She only heard someone else say ‘he did it’ at the party.
Could this other witness have intentionally or accidentally blamed the wrong person?

Are you honestly suggesting that Kavanuagh’s livelihood depends on his limited teaching appointment at Harvard?
Let’s look at what “livelihood” means: “means of support or subsistence.

Diminishing someone’s ability to earn his “means of support” assuredly does affect his livelihood. Now you may arrogate to yourself the right to decide how much a person ought to be able to earn, but let’s not pretend that these allegations, utterly unsubstantiated as they are, do not financially affect him.

LeafByNiggle:
Why do you continue to maintain that unsubstantiated allegations are destroying Kavanaugh’s livelihood?
Oops.

We are alumni of Harvard Law School. We write to ask that the Law School rescind Judge Brett M. Kavanaugh’s appointment as the Samuel Williston Lecturer on Law, and that he not be allowed to teach on the January 2019 Winter Term.
No oops here. He is making an excellent income as a Federal Appeals Judge: $220K/year. I’m sure this notariaty will open up new opportunities for him, such as Prager U.

Changing the goal post. Originally you were saying these accusations would “destroy” his livelihood. Now you are saying they might “affect” his income. “Affect” is not “destroy”.

Oh, so you accept that Kavanaugh refused. Got it.
And you accept that Ford did, and with Ford, she refused to provide specific evidence, withheld evidence. Evidence she has control of.
To the extent that Kavanaugh refused anything, it was something he has no say over.
