I really wish Vatican City had enough regular apartments for all of us Faithful Catholics who do not want this Obama care…

Anyone want to move to Malta?

:crying:

Romney can make the argument that this is going to be an enormous tax increase on the middle class

Here is another thing to worry about…

What other hidden goodies are in the thousand page monstrosity of a bill that the supreme court just ruled to be constitutional?
They didn’t rule the entire law to be constitutional, only the parts in question. The individual mandate and the medicaid sections. The rest of the law is still up for legal challenge.

Supreme Court saves Obamacare: now it’s up to Mitt Romney to kill it in November

Nonsense. Obama now gets to say that what he did was constitutional all along, and that Romney and the Republicans were wrong.

I realize people want to find a silver lining in this, yet there just is not one.

I don’t much care if you like my opinion or not. I remain with what I said, I believe this makes Obama a nobrainer and I believe much of what we see today is part of an allowed chastisement. I wondered all along what “event” would help put Obama back on the “likely to win” position–this SC ruling tossed him way above Romney. IMO.

I am not a defeatist–I am a realist. I also might be wrong, and hope and pray I am.
That’s fine. I and many others think you’re wrong.

I hope I am, and I hope Obama and all Congressional Democrats get swept out of office this November, I just do not think that will happen because in a very real way we deserve this.

I think this will help Romney.

It is pretty obvious to the rest of us - anything Obama endorses that could be seen as an aid to his reelection is bad for the unborn. Unless you somehow believe he is good for the unborn?
So what? Does not matter, most people do not give much thought to the unborn. Sad, but true.

I’d prefer to move to Lucerne or Berne, possibly Bavaria as well. Gotta love the mountains.

Why do Americans deserve it?

You’re reacing like a fan whose team lost the Super Bowl yesteday. Take a deep breath and let the smoke clear.

Abysinnia’s post made the same point I did earlier - any hope for Obamacare’s defeat now lies with the Republicans. The defeat of Obamacare was always going to have way more impact than the upholding. With its defeat, Obama would have no legislation to run on, the worst economy in 70 years, no real improvement in any aspect of life, and rampant unemployment. All this does it remove one negative from a large list of negatives, but the rest are still there.

Do you REALLY think people on the fence are going to be weighing Obamacare when they vote?

Hell, they could elect Romney and still possibly have Obamacare.

I don’t. I think it will convince many people that Obama was correct all along…
ObamaCare was unpopular before it went ever to court. I think for the most people the unpopularity does not rely on the constitutionality.
