I’ll give you something, you’re stubborness in the face of unchanging Church teaching is certainly, umm, disturbing. Your further leading others astray into sin is also very disturbing.
I’m sorry you are disturbed, but that is, of course, your right to be so!
I seriously doubt that.

Still waiting on some support for your opposition to Catholic Church teaching beyond your mere opinion.

I don’t answer stupid questions.
And I don’t dialog with stupid people. Usually.

The point of my question is to explore what you mean by “pro-life”, because it’s obvious to me and to everyone else participating in this thread that you are using an idiosyncratic definition of a term whose meaning has been common knowledge for 40 years.

Now if you are pro-life, in the sense that you seem to mean, then you would be in favor of creating brainless fetuses for the sake of organ harvesting. Do you know how hard it is to get a kidney or a heart/lung transplant for a baby? It’s practically hopeless. But with technology we will be able to meet the demands for life-saving treatments of the youngest and most heart-rending medical cases. Think of all the lives of innocent children that could be saved! What do you say, Anastasia?

Following her own logic, she should say: “YES! Great idea!”

Send your kids to Steubenville.
My children are grown.

Now why would you mock a school that presents Church teachings, faithfully?
Oh. Never mind … You remain your favorite authority on the Catholic faith. So SAD.
Hope you can soon master the art of your computer when using this site.
Although I can’t imagine why you are on this site - except to look for approval for yourself.

Meanwhile you’ve yet to respond to the question of the Original Poster.
Yet, you’re a teacher? a professor? I hope not.
A Catholic professor? No.

Thankfully for the sisters mentioned in my first case, your opinion is irrelevant to the medical practitioners who made it possible for one sister to bring to term the children of the other. While as a Catholic professor I would never turn away from my Church, sadly I think many people do leave the Church because they perceive it as cold, heartless, inhuman, and rigidly uncompromising.
What would be the difference if the fertile twin had sex with the infertile twin’s husband? Why not adopt a baby?

How is bringing a human person into existence a violation of the human person?
I’ll give an example.

I know a woman who had IVF to carry twins.

They were conceived on the third round.

1st Round 4 embryos were (name removed by moderator)lanted…none survived

2nd round 4 embryos were implanted…non survived

3rd round 4 embryos were implanted… 2 survived…2 di not

4 more embryos are in cold storage.

They most likely will remain there, because the couple has since divorced,

14 extra embryos were brought into existance, knowing that 14 would likely not survive.

14 embryos have been stripped of there human dignity.

I don’t answer stupid questions.
Of course you don’t.

Nor do you seem to be able to support your POV theologically.

Folks, methinks here we have a clear example of a Cafeteria Catholic who claims to have the moral high ground on the Catholic Church by virtue of their work/experience/“education” in “ethics”.

I’m not terribly bothered nor surprised by StAnastasia’s misguided rhetoric. When someone cannot back up their position as supported by Catholic Theology, it’s merely and opinion…and a misguided one at that. 🤷
