I bought four pairs of slacks at Penney’s on Saturday - Van Heusen brand, discounted, in colors I like, and my size exactly. What’s not to like about something like that?Learned today of a Church of Christ in our area doing the same thing. They are having a school supplies and back-to-school haircut “fair”. I’m glad to see it, and it keeps people from turning to JCP for this service.
It was not the slacks but the gays on a couch campaign that has caused some (me) to stop shopping at Penneys.

They have lost customers and are reducing prices to try and drag them back in.

Yeah. If it’s too small on top, it’s too large on the bottom, and vice-versa. That’s the trouble with pear-shapes or the variety of figures the ladies have. Mercifully, all I need is waist size and pants leg length and I’m good to go.
Not so fast there.
That would be a dream shopping trip. At least men’s clothes have measurements to match up.
