No mistake. The activists purposefully conflate acceptance with approval. They don’t want you to accept gay people - as people who are sinning when they have M2M sex but “so what” everyone sins so it’s not such a big deal, they want you to approve of the sex. They want sex between men to no longer be sinful. In the same way the swinger community wants extra-marital sex to be approved by the church… hold on, the swingers don’t actually fight for that. You have to approve and support them, and if you don’t, you’re a bigot. Your religious views are outdated and should be changed, etc.

Most people;e don’t care what they do in their personal lives so long as it does not involve them (I myself fall into this category), as such I am indifferent. Where I and the majority of people exception is when it is out were we can see it, like this Chic-Fil-A business, the attack on Boy Scouts, or not being able to take my children to a public park is what draws the hornets out.

That’s true but that’s not enough. You have to celebrate with them. That’s how cultures are shaped. You can’t be merely tolerant, you must approve and oppose anyone who is not enthusiastic enough in his approval. Next you’ll have to teach your kids, or your school will teach your preteen kids, that anal sex between adolescent boys is perfectly OK and if the boys feel intrigued by it, they can give it a experimental try - why not - maybe they’ll enjoy it-- just use a condom.
Let’s be clear. For centuries or perhaps millenia, people did not care what others did in their bedrooms. Only now we see the terrible tales emerge of homophobia. And yes a homophobe is anyone who does not actively support sex between men. No excuses allowed.

I worked at target for a year and they totally push the gay agenda. They hire so many gay people (not that I’m against hiring gay people) but it was bad. They would talk so publicly about their “encounters” and we only get to sit their and listen to it. So happy I quit that **** hole (for different reasons) but I’ll never go back for anything.

Not true. Lawrence v. Texas, 539 U.S. 558 (2003) is a landmark decision by the United States Supreme Court. In the 6-3 ruling, the Court struck down the sodomy law in Texas and, by extension, invalidated sodomy laws in thirteen other states,
The sodomy laws applied to both heterosexual (even between spouses) couples as well as to homosexuals. Oral sex between a husband and wife also came under those laws.

There is a Target due to break ground within the year in a nearby city. I was looking forward to it. Not now. How many places will we have to avoid to protect the innocence of our children? I certainly do not want to walk into a store with my children and have them see that ad or one similar. When they are older and I can try to explain, perhaps. But, young children witnessing this should not occur.

It isn’t discrimination that men can’t give birth. It isn’t discrimination that women cannot confect the Eucharist. It would be discrimination if we said “well, you could do this in theory, but we just don’t want you to.” If you actually follow Church teachings, this shouldn’t be that hard for you to get. Transubstantiation requires a man. A woman can try all day and night - it will never work.
So again, you’re wrong. Not sure why things like this bother you. Getting annoyed over the fact that men can’t give birth is a silly waste of your time. Let it go.
You seem obsessed over trying to win a semantics battle, even though you are incorrect regardless of how you define “discriminate.” You need to let that sort of childish game go. It was fine in 6th grade spelling class, but trying to win a “point” at all costs on the INTERNET is weak.

Other Christian groups have women priests and bishops. The fact remains that the Catholic church does not.

Now, to the topic. I am a regular Target shopper. If this ad shows up at the store, then I will stop shopping there, but I will tell a manager as to why. If it does not, I will honor the managers decision not to put it up.

I believe the problem is that human sexuality cannot be reduced to a slogan, sound bite, or advertisement. It is an integral part of the human nature and impacts our life on many levels. To be properly ordered every human must come to terms with their sexuality.
Unfortunately, the culture’s successful destruction of the perception of chastity as a virtue has distorted the framework so badly that a person outside of the rock (Holy Mother Church) and without the aid of teaching texts like the Theology of the Body has to overcome too much distortion from oversimplification and junk science catering
to fallen nature.
We live in a world where materialism is the popular theology, ie non-theology theology.
Given this context along with man’s fallen nature, it is no wonder we as a people face these issues. The positive notes are several though so don’t lose hope: That the truth is written on many hearts at some level by the Holy Spirit and that God is merciful and that this is the time of mercy and that the Church with Jesus will always be with us.
Prayer and a willingness to speak the truth in love remain.
