The “royal” “we” friend Mickey…no one in particular…but the “imaginary” person WE all embody in one way or another…surely you understand the use of “we”? If not…and assuming you are not being intentionally obtuse…hope you realize it’s being used in a very very general way.🙂
 
I have back to school shopping to do as well. I’m very thrifty, though, and when I shop at these larger companies it’s usually out of convenience, they have a lot of things all in one place.

I’ve noticed though, that if you can get out of the mainstream you don’t have to deal with this kind of BS. And your money goes to a family, directly.

IOW, I ain’t too good to shop at a fleamarket or lowbudget family run shop. I’ll take my money off the grid and the major stores can kiss off.

Great minds think alike…and you get some exercise in the sun. Nothing more fun than an afternoon walking around the segunda with a fruit cup and some horchata 😃

I’m not saying it’s not a nice way to travel but the guberment should stay out of free enterprise.

You pay for your own ride. Why should I subsidize your hamburger?😛

That is actually an excellent idea. Both of my kids are quirky enough in their fashion sense that they’d be OK with that. Although, as you say, current fashion clothes are also available.

Maybe not as much. Who pays for the airports, the VORs, the navigation routes, air traffic control?

Not everyone can drive to a destination, and airlines don’t service a lot of towns. Here in Arkansas, e.g., only the train goes to Arkadephia - not even the bus, and there’s Oachita Baptist University and Henderson State University there.

There’s room for highways, airlines, and rail lines in the U.S. is my point.

I haven’t ridden an airline yet that doesn’t have its hand in the government’s pocket, either. Let free enterprise buy the land for airports and build the infrastructure. Same with the highways - let free enterprise toll roads be the rule. Stand back when the squalking begins. 🙂

The main issue here is the general public believes being gay is hereditary. It’s something you can’t control, and thus it should be accepted because it’s quote on quote “natural”.

They associate the lack of support of homosexuality to racism because of this point.

I see it being a long time, if at all where the public begins to question is homosexuality is really as natural as we think it is. And the more companies like this push this kind of idea of normal, the more the general public will come to despise the Church.

You claimed that costco were liberal. Costco has contributed to democratic candidates, but there is nothing to prove they support abortion or gay marriage. Know what you’re talking about before getting snappy, wise guy.

So, arranging a large fundraiser for Obama has nothing to do with whether they are liberal? Btw…I like to snap, but it generally has to be the right music. I appreciate your assumption that I am wise, but I don’t know that I would go that far. 😉

My only ‘issue’ was the implied claim that the Catholic Church does not discriminate on the grounds of sex. It does.
