Tell me how you share your daily suffering with Christ

Freely praying for those we find most difficult is one of the hardest, yet most rewarding things we can do. We are Christ on the cross at that moment.
 
All the LGBTxyz topics, anti trad topics here on CAF are a cause of suffering. The world does not revolve around them. Narcissism is a huge problem these days.
 
I gotta be careful. I don’t put you on too high a pedestal! 🙂
 
And, what’s worse is that the moment the heat is turned up even slightly, the snowflakes begin to melt.

But not in silence.

Some of the great Saints have said the same thing, particularly Saint Alphonsus Liguori I believe. There is a reason why they call it “redemptive” suffering!

I haven’t had time to read the other posts, so I don’t know if it has been mentioned, but thanking God for our suffering, which is in fact redemptive, will serve after a while, to take some of the misery out of it.

So much wisdom here! But so hard to put it into practice! To pick up that heavy cross every day, letting God have control of how long we should stay nailed to it…that we should be counted worthy to suffer as our Savior did.
 
Sometimes my back pain and lack of patience with a person or situation coincide. I’m a long way from where you guys are. that’s for sure.

I deal with those people on Twitter. I am convinced that Satan is working through their activists but I could be demonising them. I should get off Twitter eh.
 
I am certainly not intimating that I am successful in this regard. It is a struggle against our human nature, but we have an Advocate. We have the Sacraments. I have someone to pray for today - someone angry and bitter and even angrier that I am not. There is an overriding sadness, but I know that this person, like myself, is not a finished product. So, I pray.

When challenges come your way, Pray, in Christ’s Love for that person bringing the challenge. God bless that bad driver. Help him to calm down.
Turn pain to prayer and praise. If playing Praise music, the pain gets less.
See Jesus in all ppl. Let ppl, see Jesus in you.
