Oh yes. Most people don’t know how many of us are sad and deeply depressed. I was shocked to read how many people are suicidal, especially teenagers. It’s just heart breaking. I will pray.

Dear Lord, I ask that you grant special graces to the suicidal, graces that will bring them to experience you more perfectly through their sufferings in this life. Let them always know that there is a way out of their problems. Help them to seek out a good priest to unload themselves of their grief and let them never fear to seek out help form loving souls. Grant them special graces to persevere in their anguish and the grace to always seek you and only you as a solution to life’s problems. Help them not to turn to alchohol and drugs as an answer to their problems, but give them the courage to speak up to good souls. I ask all this in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

I was very much suicidal last night. I’m still very depressed. I think I’m in a state of mortal sin and I feel like I have failed God whom I love with all my heart. I’m going to confession here in a little while but I still think I’ll feel guilty about what I did which will go unmentioned. I only want the priest and my close friends to know what happened. Thank you all for your prayers.

After confession those sins are wiped away and I pray you move on with your life correcting those mistakes that keep you from experiencing God’s love and peace and growing in the knowledge that you are so lovable in God’s eyes.
