They have, but not the way you think.If the answer is none, then may we safely assume things might have changed a bit since then?

Keep in mind, this marked decline happened during a virtual explosion in the number of students. And yet aggressive behavior by students is down dramatically over the past seventy years or so. It’s not just student assaults on teachers that is down. Students are less often the victim of assaults, too:
