I see tons of posts about various topics and people arguing, so I wanted to create a post about sharing positive feedback to other members. I will start:

@Maximilian75 thank you for all you post on here. Your comments have helped inspire me to be more active on this forum, and out in the real world. God Bless you.

@Cruciferi thank you for providing a little humor in the middle of heavy topics. It’s good to be reminded that we shouldn’t take ourselves so seriously.

@FrDavid96 thank you for being an active member on this forum. I know you probably have tons of other responsibilities with being a priest, but you can give back so much advice and it is appreciated. God Bless you

Good idea! I wish to thank everyone who has been a support and resource to my journey. You have made me more aware of what it means to be THE BODY OF CHRIST!
:grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:⛪🙏📖🕯️

Shout out to @BlackFriar. Always willing to consider another person. Deeply thoughtful posts. Seems to be enjoying the journey, not just claiming a destination. Always an inspiration to me with great posts.

@pnewton, been around for ages, a true gentleman in any situation with great balance, insight and theological instincts.

Also retired Father Ruggero of course (@Don_Ruggero) - always a delightful view from a very experienced clergyman who is so traditional he is also liberal if that makes sense (not that I am into labels).

I wish he would post as often as he used to but understandably a lot of stuff affects the blood pressure.

Thank you so much! May God bless you as well.

Thanks for always explaining canon law to me, and for being a rational voice in the continual merry-go-round of posts concerning Amoris Laetitia 😀

I’ve said it before, but Meltzerboy 2 for providing great (name removed by moderator)ut on matters, both of Judaism and other topics, from a Jewish perspective. I think we all learn much.

@acanonlawyer and @don_ruggero both have a lot of expertise and teach us all a lot. @oralabora is an expert on the Divine Office and a great example of a Benedictine Oblate.

He doesn’t post anymore, but Brother JR was a true inspiration for me. He intended to post me a volume of the Breviary to further my habits, but unfortunately he took sick before it was able to leave his desk. I pray for him often, and I hope the rest of us do as well. I miss his (name removed by moderator)ut.

Thank you @SusanneT for your words, your advice, your example, and for giving me hope. You are a role model for me.
Thank you @MissTherese for being another role model. We are the same age, and yet your wisdom and knowledge of the Faith far exceeds mine. You are an inspiration.
Thank you @MercyWarrior88 for being my dear friend, even though we’ve never met. Here are some Saint Therese roses for you 🌹🌹🌹
Thank you @ajg for starting a lovely, much-needed thread!

TisBearself always is polite, informative, honest and helpful. She has good communication skills and doesn’t talk down to people. I think she is a great all around member! 😊

@(name removed by moderator) for your wisdom and @Tis_Bearself for your good sense. I often find both of you give great advice and never lose your cool.

@JamalChristophr for your good humor. You’re usually the first to try to break up a heated argument with a joke or a cartoon.

@Maximilian75 and @(name removed by moderator) for all the things I’ve been learning from your responses.

@FrDavid96 and @Don_Ruggero for taking the time to deal with us, especially when we’re not particularly polite or receptive.

And finally, @ajg for this beautiful, loving thread you started.

God bless you all!

EDITED to correct spelling

Ridgerunner is one of my choices, and it may seem an odd one for me since we are on virtually opposite sides of the political spectrum. However, this is one thing I like about him: his ideas always lead to provocative discussion. Another thing I like is he is always chock full of information I was not aware of and stories which I find fascinating.

Another choice is Don Ruggero for his wisdom, knowledge, and compassion. I have learned so much about Catholicism and life from him. A real gentleman and scholar.

@SuperLuigi I don’t think I’ve ever agreed with you on anything (maybe once or twice) and in my time here we’ve had some pretty snarky conversations with each other. But I appreciate people who will talk with me about things even when we disagree. It’s admirable to stick to what you believe. So, thanks 😁 it’s always fun.

@LittleFlower thanks for being who you are, you always offer a good perspective and it’s nice to hear your very reasonable replies to things. 😁 I can always count on you to know what you’re talking about.

@GKMotley for his vast knowledge of King Henry VIII and his life and times.

Oh so many. But the forum only allows me to mention 10 in a post here. So among them…

@angel12
@anikins
@ConstantLearner
@dvdjs
@F_Marturana
@HCTC
@Jig_Saw
@inisfallen
@lmachine
@ProVobis

For showing on the World News subforum that indeed one can be Catholic or Christian and not be in the pocket of Donald J Trump or the Republican Party.

Thankyou to @katherine438 and @pollylodges for always taking the time out to pray for things that others often don’t care about like Dementia,Schizophrenia,other mental illnesses etc…

Jesus cared about the most marginalised and it would be good if other Catholics took the example of these two women.
