** Thanksgiving, Antifa Topples Statues Of George Washington , Abe Lincoln And Veterans To Fight Colonization

Apparently pjmedia is quick to blame anything bad that happens on Antifa, just because a few slogans sometimes used by people in that movement were found. But they did actually catch anyone in the act toppling George Washington and Abe Lincoln to verify what group they belonged to?
 
Whose else would you blame when they write the same thing “colonize” on statue everywhere they go.

Antifa can’t get away from it"s trademarks.

They have distroyed so many Statues. Why defend bad bad behavior.

No, they didn’t. Every factual article I’ve seen says the perpetrators are, so far, unknown.
 
Oh please Antifa groups have been destroying statues across America for six months.

Six more on Unthanksgiving were destroyed.

The label “Antifa” tends to be applied loosely. A person wearing black may receive the label. But wearing black isn’t generally a sufficient condition for being recognized as an organization.

If three one identifies individuals that frequently go to the same park to bird watch, is that sufficient to conclude they are part of an organization? They engage in the same activity, and have some of the same accessories and even share an interest. They have been doing it for years.

We can’t blame anybody until we find out who did it. But as for who could have done it, virtually any vandals. When have vandals ever needed a rational reason to destroy something? Vandals often leave misleading clues as a form of mischief. For that reason, suspicion falls on Trump supporters who would like nothing better than to see Antifa blamed for something. But far be it for me to actually blame Trump supporters for doing this without evidence. Just sayin’, it’s possible.
 
Whether the vandals are massive groups with Antifa signs or smaller Antifa like minded groups who topple George Washington, Abe Lincoln or veterans, the message is the same.
 
I actually approve of the destruction of some of the statues they have either done directly or drawn concern from local governments.

I am overjoyed to see the toppling of Confederate statues for example.

Some statues would have been questioned and taken down but through legal means not some mob tearing them down.

You also said you are happy that Catholic forums are closing but many on these forums are not.

That’s right. What of it?

Local southern governments would not listen to normal legal means. They were so tied to southern apologetics. My hometown Richmond is one example. The local Governance would never have assented to take down these embarrassing statues. It took action- and now thank God they are coming down.
 
Because you did not understand that the statues reminded them of all the death that took place in the South-- the total destruction. It reminded them of slavery and it’s affect.

It was a slow process but would have happened legally and many had already been destroyed by 2016 and others were decaying.

Wouldn’t have happened on Monument Avenue in Richmond. The Robert E. Lee is the very symbol of Richmond.

I do give GOP Nikki Haley a lot of credit for taking down the Confederate flag off the state capitol grounds in South Carolina.
 
It would have happened but at a slower rate. They were not repairing them,many were decaying. I understand for some it was frustrating to not see them tore down.

Robert E Lee was a part of Virginia culture, he was a divided man because he was a West point general who had to pick a side. It was economics and he saw the South collapsing.

Lee would have gone but the Virginians did want to be told what to do with their statue.

Ain’t that the truth. One Halloween night someone spray painted the sign to my neighborhood. By coincident I had paint that matched that the original colors of the sign and had their spray paint covered up by 8am the next morning.
