Maureen Dowd’s version of The 12 Days of Christmas. She still is a bitter person.

Dowd speaks in detail about her conservative family members in this Booknotes interview with Brian Lamb. Her mother and brother are very conservative.Does Maureen Dowd consider herself a Catholic? I know, from occasionally reading her articles that her mother and brothers are strong and conservative (Republican) Irish Catholics–to her great dismay. What is her story? She is so shrill, I can’t stand reading her columns. Is she married? How old is she? Kids? If she only channeled her intelligence and sarcasm in a less aggressive way, she might be effective. She’s like a pit bull.![]()
