Depending on the English commentators, I sometimes prefer to watch it on the Spanish station. Plus, I love it when they cry out “GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAL!” 😂

i don’t get Telemundo. what time does your local FOX station show the games?
 
Here in Denver (mountain time) they’re on at 8:00am and 12:00 noon.

Incidentally, that is perfectly timed for me to watch the first game, go to mass, and then come home and watch the second game. 😅
 
Nice thing about these games that they almost always are just short of 2 hrs long.

is that Telemundo or FOX local?
 
Absolutely loved France over Argentina! I did not realize Argentina was more or less in poor form so I was surprised. Besides it was a great game all around, the best I have seen so far in the Cup. Uruguay scares me though - they seem almost impenetrable defensively. Also that game with Portugal got really choppy, full of fouls, dirty. I hate that. Players get injured a lot and it slows down the flow of the game. I worry about France facing Uruguay, but it seems like I underestimated France a little bit! I am quite happy at this point. For a few more days anyway. Still watching England, but, again, I worry - I don’t know if they can get past Columbia or not. I feel like if they have one big test like that and make it through, that will be the lift they need. I just don’t know how strong they are, can they keep their heads under pressure, etc. I confess to some doubts there…

I thought Arizona was the same time as CA this time of year? 🤔

So far as I know, the games are on both FOX local (English) and Telemundo (Spanish).

Personally, I’m going to be disappointed if there isn’t at least one bite to the shoulder from Uruguay and one headbutt to the chest from France. So long as that happens, I don’t really care about the outcome. 😈

Collins. i have to remember when i call she is one hour ahead right now so it would be 7 & 11.
 
When the World’s Cup moves to North America, I would expect the games to be much later. And then perhaps across four time zones, depending on the host city. 16 so far I hear.

Now that is what I call the hand of God. Well done, Russia. What a nail biter. Absolutely fantastic match. I kept thinking, well, remember what they did to Napoleon. God bless 'em. (unless they do that again to France that is…) 😉 This is turning out to be a really good World Cup as far as I am concerned. I am still shaken from that game - taping Denmark/Croatia.
