I used to watch that as a kid too. Too bad my taste for anime has taken the not so Christian/Kiddie branch of evolution. It makes it hard for me to appreciate stuff like this when I should. :o

I’ve seen a few scenes of that. I say to you know, consider yourself blessed. At least you’re not being drawn to something as affronting to a guy’s manliness as Shugo Chara. >_>;;

My taste has kinda taken that direction too, but it just hasn’t interfered with my appreciation for Christian/Kiddie stuff. It’s weird how I can still go either way.

Shugo Chara… oh dear… well it takes a lot to get used to shoujo anime when you’re used to hot-blooded shounen. Spice and Wolf isn’t exactly shoujo though, it’s more of those fantasy/period pieces you may or may not like because of it’s slower pace and focus on the dialogue and relationship between the characters.
I actually liked the show and am quite excited to get the dvds on the late December release date. Horo/Holo is just oh so lovable. 🙂

Oh yeah definitely. Not only am I a shameless Narutard, I also have a thing for darker, grittier manga like Ubel Blatt and Majin Devil.

I seriously don’t know if the fact that I am still drawn to overly cutesy, chibi-loaded fluff like Shugo Chara makes me a miracle or an abnormality. >_>;;

I personally love anime like that too. Too bad such things often have origins in light novels. I’ll have you know, I’m am just dying to read a translation of the original Full Metal Panic. It just feels so inadequate to watch the anime or read the manga without going to the canon source. ;w;
 
Still trying to watch an episode of wolf’s rain. I’m trying a free trial with blockbuster but they say the DVD has a very long wait in the quenue, which means like maybe 6 weeks but the free trial only lasts 2. :banghead:

I dunno what else to do. I don’t want to watch it on an illegal site or on youtube unless Bandai themselves put it on. I browsed all on google but the only sites I found hosted the anime illegally.

As a fanfiction writer, I’ve always been asking this too.

Even when looking up smut fics for anime like Fate/Stay Night (which originated as a hentai game) you would find an overwhelming amount of yaoi fics in 'em! DX<

What’s wrong? I loved Tsubasa! D8 The teenage Sakura and Syaoran are one of the sweetest couples I’ve seen in anime! D8
 
It was like Bee Train kidnaped CLAMP and force-fed them LSD. Lots of it.
 
I’ve seen some clean ones. Not every fanfic writer is perverted. Just the notorious ones who think shlock sells. Serious writers know better.
