Unfortunately, even with the different opinions, YOU need to choose the Bible that you will read. Could be the best translation but if the print or the binding is not appealing to you, that will be a problem. Do you prefer footnotes at the bottom of the page or at the end of the chapter. Do you want a hardback or a paperback. You need to now take the version information you got here and now choose one for yourself (my two cents is that you should choose one of the Catholic versions rather than another version that happens to contain the apocrypha - this will assure the footnotes and introductions are Catholic to avoid confusion). It may not be a bad idea to own more than one version, one that you like for general reading and one for study. That’s the beauty of it, let the Bible speak to you !Thank youit just gets confusing when everyone has different opinions with the translations, as I am only familiar with 3 versions. LOL So I am like just tell me what to look for and I will seek! XD I just want one where I can read with ease (no fancy language) and enjoy it, and deepen my faith. of Course
