Where I live this isn’t how it works. The animals we raise for food are treated damn well. They live happy, healthy lives and when it’s time we kill them quick.
We raise goat, beef, lamb, pork, turkey, chicken… etc. etc. NONE of our animals suffer. Ever.
Furthermore, many, many ‘factory’ meat houses do NOT mistreat animals routinely. It is the RARITY for these evils to happen, not the norm.
Most animal meat will NOT taste good if the animal has been tortured or even if the animal is afraid when it dies.
