Bruno,
Has anyone ever mention that not only are you redundant, repetitious and rebose in your tautological statements but that you tend to use too many words?

[SIGN] freesmileys.org/smileys/laughing024.gif** [/SIGN]

God Bless!
This is one of the lowest blows I’ve ever seen you make, Real. Inexcusably Low.
We both know that Bruno and his wife spend ‘all their time’ Helping the sick, and those not having God! We were surprised that Bruno even tries to give Bibles to visitors and customers!
And Enriches Us with his Thoughts, while too disabled to work now.

You’ve ruined my day, Real. And that is tough to do. Try the Lord’s Way, not the Gutter.

I have always considered myself Catholic. Do I have to say Roman Catholic because the Vatican is in Rome?

I notice certain Anglicans say they are “high” Anglican - in other words the “higher” they are the closer they are to the Catholic Church - some like to say they are Catholic. Hmmmmm.

Whenever I have visited England and been to some of the beautiful Churches I think that they were once Catholic. I also look at some of the beautiful stately homes and think they were once monasteries which were taken away from the Church and I think of the poor who were supported by the Monks and how they must have suffered. Hmmmmm

🤷
I don’t always understand this concern over terms. But Anglican and some other Protestant denominations fully consider themselves both catholic and apostolic. Therefore, Roman is an adjective that defines one as a follower of the Church of Rome, led by Pope Benedict. Anglicans consider themselves Catholics in every sense of the word, except that we do not adhere to the Pope as our spiritual leader.

Anglican priests are priests, we celebrate the same liturgy, we genuflect and use kneelers (although that has become passe in some Roman churches.), we pray to saints and have holy days. We consecrate the bread and wine in the same manner. We recite the Nicene Creed, we confess sins in the same manner, etc etc etc.

There are many Episcopalian monasteries and convents staffed with monks, priests and nuns. We are just not hierarchical in the same manner that the Roman church is organized.

Catholic doctrine can be found in the Bible but the first half, the Old Testament, is a Hebrew book, for it was written long before there was a Catholic Church.

This is true, but it was ratified in the form of the Septuagint by Jesus and the Apostles, then preserved, protected, and promulgated by the Church, who joined the Septuagint to the NT when it was formed. None of it was separated until the Reformation.

Jesus demonstrated how the NT fullfills the OT, and this is entirely Catholic. 👍

Tony, I bet you Bruno saw the humor.🙂 He has a great sense of Humor.😃 I am sorry that it ruined your day.

**I happen to like and respect Bruno. It was a joke. I also am too diasbled to work have been for years. That only makes me disabled. **
I also help people, you, as a KC, above all should know that BROTHER!

and that isn’t a complement!

  • Not good to chastise Anyone. Not one person. And ridiculing wisdoms, one’s thoughts is very atheist, foreign. And ridiculing another’s thoughts is Lowest form of attack. Even atheists avoid that.Bruno is handicapped from working anymore, like in Sculpting. He has brilliant ideas. We appreciate them.
Our apologies, Bruno. We appreciate your wisdoms and attitude. Very few offer a Bible to Customers. Whunderbahr, Bruno. Vhile Danke (Pardon the mispelling)
Bruno, mein Freund,

**Hi Spirit, 👋 **

**How are you? **** You are just not the real churcjh instituted by Jesus. The term you were looking for to explain Anglican is counterfeit! Imination would work also. You would need the real presence of Jesus, which is passed down through the Apostles and follow the “real” church and its leader to become completely full members of the body of Christ. Lets pray that our ‘leaders’ can make that happen. We miss you and you deserve to know Jesus in the correct manner as taught by His church:thumbsup: **

God Bless

Bruno is a good personal Friend. We E-mail off Web. He wanted to quit Posting his thoughts on our Web, because of the personal “Hits” and avoiding him. Again, he is Disabled former Sculptor in Germany, unasble to work. He spends Very mich time our WEB, obviously. He, like everyone, Deserves respect, Personally and in postings.

His Very Catholic wife visits a bedridden woman daily. They Live their Faith. We too often just write our thoughts about it.
Bruno’s lack of English slang is weak. He is nervously trying to communicate, and Is sensitive, like we all are to Hits and Avoidance personally he gets from a few. He e-mails twice daily with what something means in a post. :compcoff:

Great to interact with Every Person as great Friend, and repect their ideas. Humor Then becomes a great Communicator, as Pope Benedict wrote few months ago, not infallibly. 🙂

But we adults Know that Humor is one of the Best Educators, Preventors and resolvers of Problems. And Friend makers. :o 😛

And, brother KC Real, always ready to help you. Just call when you need help. :manvspc: :stretcher:

** Br Toney, Bruno and I have communicated off thread thread also. I understand his culture (Ich bin ein Deutscher!) I lived in Germanyfor three years, I speak German. My family are German, we lived in German part of Philadelphia around 2 miles from “Germantown”. As you said he may be a “personal friend” , But remember I am your brother. By the way In german I told Bruno you had the sense of humor of a potato. I lied. 😊 A potato’s sense of humor is better!😃

Never heard of Potato Humor. aka Underground humor? My humor is the indescribable/indigestible variety.
Code:
Is not culture but the fact that Many here have personal sensitivities that we need to carefully avoid infringing upon, or kicking. Speaking to myself, I need to keep from coming across as "Too Big" in my postings. Am skinny, luckily :) One guy said I come across too "snooty" sure; so I assured him I would blow my nose before entering our web. I'll keep hankie available also! :bighanky: OK? :thankyou:

Hey!

Here is some valuable information about the potato. My husband juices three raw popatoes each morning and drinks the juice - sometimes he might add a piece of ginger or an apple to sweeten it. It brings down cholesterol like you won’t believe. You might want to research that!

cheers
Cinette

And I like the 7 extra Old Books we Catholics kept in Our Bible, OT. :bible1: See, I included the OP. Never get caught in public with your OP down! :tsktsk:

OK - you asked for it! Ever heard of Urine Therapy? Let me tell you, it works!

Again, my husband… and it has cured a lot of things… go check it out.

That is why he is gorgeous and healthy. We also do not eat junk food - never set foot in MacDonalds or anything like that - ever!

Cheers
Have a good Sunday

**Thanks a lot to all of you, but doesn’t the Thread run out of it’s topic?
In the meantime it’s a good lesson for me to my poor basic English. But then, my German ain’t much better :o

Yes I know the …therapy Cinette mentioned. Mom, who died in her 90’s 3 years ago, was convinced of it. Her mom (my granny) died when she was 100 and she managed her own household to the end – never having potatoes-juice

Dear Cinette; your safe bet on juices of three raw potatoes,….
I wonder if your husband looks all pale and slowly fading-away-like.
Do you want to marry me? (I’d have to ask my wife if she had any objections though). Potato is a solanung as I’m told by
woerterbuch.info/?query=Nachtschattengew%E4chs&s=dict&l=en
and solanungs are supposed to be toxical if not heated first. If your husband is still alive, I’m wrong though. Granny thought tomatoes where poisonous too. She had tomatoes as decoration only, until she was married. (at least I think she was married).

I wonder if anybody would like to open a new thread about the theme
DID JESUS HAVE HUMOUR?

I often wrote in many forums, that Jesus (who is God) surely was a man who had a lot of humour. Else he wouldn’t have been able to stand us
(well, once He said: How much longer do I have to stand you?! -
because we peeved Him once more.)

Nope, and never want to hear of that Assuredly Aboriginal tradition? (Or, Personal Question: Is it your hubby’s family tradition? Or…His invention?) What type Potato? Aboriginal?

And what do You think of the 7 OT Books in the Apocrypha? O just saw that the Orthodox Bible has a 3rd Book of Machabees? Probably unorthodox joke

My husband is not pale and miserable - I told you he is gorgeous and looks about 15 years younger. The potatoes are the ordinary potatoes we have here is S Africa - probably Irish Potatoes. Probably Catholic potatoes!

We began doing all sorts of healthy stuff because we want to be healthy in our golden years. People are always saying they can’t believe my age etc and I always attribute it to a happy Catholic marriage and a gorgeous funny husband.

Cheers guys
Cinette

P S Sorry Sailka (was it you?) I can’t marry you!🙂 😉
