I think I have asked you this before. How do you know that His Spirit dwells in you. We cannot believe that just on your mere say so.
Also, when Paul spoke of the Body of Christ, he was referring to the members of the infant Catholic Church. So to be a member of the Body of Christ is to be member of the Catholic Church.
The Spirit of God is as real to me as my right arm. I recieved the baptism of the Holy Ghost through the laying on of hands.
All Christians who are born again, In Christ are part of the Body of Christ. I and my fellow nonCatholics are part of His Body and are not part of the Catholic Church. Your theology is flat out wrong.
JOHN 14:16-17, 23
16 And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever—
17 the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you.
23 Jesus answered and said to him, "If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him.
JOHN 15:4
4 Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me.
JOHN 17: 22
22 And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one:
23 I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me.
24 Father, I desire that they also whom You gave Me may be with Me where I am, that they may behold My glory which You have given Me; for You loved Me before the foundation of the world.
25 O righteous Father! The world has not known You, but I have known You; and these have known that You sent Me.
26 And I have declared to them Your name, and will declare it, that the love with which You loved Me may be in them, and I in them."
ROMANS 8:9-11
9 But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His.
10 And if Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.
11 But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.
1CORINTHIANS 3:16-17
16 Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?
17 If anyone defiles the temple of God, God will destroy him. For the temple of God is holy, which temple you are.
1CORINTHIANS 6:17-20
17 But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit with Him.
18 Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body.
19 Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own?
20 For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body F16 and in your spirit, which are God’s.
2CORINTHIANS 6:16-18
16 And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you* are the temple of the living God. As God has said: “I will dwell in them And walk among them. I will be their God, And they shall be My people.”+
17 Therefore “Come out from among them And be separate, says the Lord. Do not touch what is unclean, And I will receive you.”*
18 “I will be a Father to you, And you shall be My sons and daughters, Says the Lord Almighty.”*
2CORINTHIANS 13:5-6
5 Examine yourselves as to whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Do you not know yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you?–unless indeed you are disqualified.
6 But I trust that you will know that we are not disqualified.
GALATIANS 2:20
20 I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.
GALATIANS 4:19
19 My little children, for whom I labor in birth again until Christ is formed in you,
COLOSSIANS 1:27
26 the mystery which has been hidden from ages and from generations, but now has been revealed to His saints.
27 To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which F4 is Christ in you, the hope of glory.
F4: M-Text reads who.
1JOHN 4:4
4 You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.
