Jews never agree with one another, including rabbis. Their feelings about Zionism, the State of Israel’s being established before the Messiah, and other issues are also complex, even contradictory at times. It is often not a simple for or against scenario.

And the Arab extremist leaders have not perpetrated atrocities? The history of this conflict has at least two, if not more, sides. It is best not to be misled by any of them.

This is a religious, not a political forum. This thread is religious and not political. If incursions are made on anyone’s part, flag the posts!

The problem is that Zionism, which is an atheistic movement hijacked the religion of Judaism to use it as a front in order to get support from the West; that’s the main reason why the 20,000 raging rabbis are against Zionism. It’s Orthodox Rabbis who are against Zionism,

Jews and Palestinians lived side by side for centuries in that region for a long time before the Zionist movement seized all those lands through military force and cruel tactics. Here’s an Orthodox Rabbi describing how Zionists tortured him. Please watch it:

As for Palestinian atrocities, they are more like a resistance movement, much like the French resistance movement that developed when Hitler occupied France and other countries, and they resort to desperate means…

This is ridiculous. We’re now going to compare Zionism to the Nazis? What is this! I’m sick to death of politics. I don’t want to discuss it. We know you dislike Talmud and the State of Yisrael, we get it. I don’t want to have to put labels on anyone but your beliefs do match those of anti-Semites. Let’s just stay off that area, okay?

Talk about pulling teeth, to throw one back at ya.

Yes, thankfully, Zionism is in matters of hashkafah, so NO ONE ca decide if it is right or not, and boy, do I mean NO ONE! I choose to be a Zionist. That’s my OPINION. End of story. God job @meltzerboy2. Many people on this thread have no clue that Judaism says one can live in Eretz Yisrael BEFORE HaMashiach.

I’m simply enlightening you about Zionism and why tens of thousands of Orthodox Rabbis are protesting it.

As for the Talmud, it has horrible things to say about Jesus and His mother, why should I like that? This is a Catholic thread. As for this thread, it’s about Jews who have found Jesus, yet you have chosen to derail it and argue against Jesus. As for this website it’s a Catholic forum, so don’t come here and besmirch Jesus Christ. As for anti-semitism, it is Jews and Jewish rabbis in videos explaining the atrocities perpetrated by Zionism, so your statement falls flat…

We must be civil on these forms or I will leave. Yes, many rabbis are against Zionism, but you’re totally one-sided. The Arabs have done just as much wrong as anyone else, I’ll be first to admit we Jews aren’t perfect. There, you happy? We’re not perfect. We have always stated that.

As for the Talmud, it says no such thing. May I ask you a few questions?

WHO’S YOUR RAV? WHERE DID YOU GO TO YESHIVA? ARE YOU AN ORDAINED RABBI? DO YOU EVEN HAVE A COPY OF THE TALMUD!

If the answer to all that is no, then STOP telling me what the Talmud says. You only know what you read on those anti-Semite sites. I’m telling you know, I know Talmud more than you will in a life time, okay, let’s face it. So what about listening to me just on that, okay? I already disproved that one fake statement you pulled out of your arse, so there you have it. Let’s not let this get ugly, cause it will if you keep purposefully stepping on OUR toes. If that’s what you’re seeking, word of advice, do it elsewhere.

Again, it is the 20,000 Orthodox Rabbis who explain that the State of Israel via the Zionist movement hijacking the Jewish religion as a front and invaded Palestine and stole all the lands. But many others such as Miko Peled, and President Jimmiy Carter have spoken about this.
As for the Talmud, it says no such thing.
I already gave you the link to the Princeton professor who did a thorough study on the matter. But the texts are there in the Talmud for anyone to read… The problem with being in denial is that the truth becomes distorted…

Even if all you say about the Palestinian atrocities are true, which I do not believe, you know very well that the ends do NOT justify the means according to Catholic teaching.

Another thing: if you post a thread entitled “The Door to Real Jewish Life” on the Non-Catholic Religions subforum, wouldn’t you expect the few Jews on this website to present their side about what Jewish life consists of, including their views on Jesus as the Messiah? Not disparagement, of course, but viewpoints and discussion of the major issues.

I also think you may have hijacked your own thread by mixing politics with the original topic.

@Gab123,

I could easily make your life a living hell IF I wanted to. I’ve done this before. I’ve met many anti-Semites online, and each time we go over what the Talmud truly has to say, I crush them competently.

To be truthful, I’ve just had too much on my plate recently to give this thread a true reading since last I was here, so I likely just missed your one post there.

If you want to debate the Talmud on Jesus/Gentiles, I will be happy to do so. We can make a new thread and only have our voices do the arguing, so that others may listen. In the end, after a number of posts, let’s say 10 per side, we leave it up to a vote by our readers, and they decide who’s right and who’s wrong. Agree? This format is very close to a place called Debate.Org. If you like this idea, let’s do it. I can write to the guy who runs the threads and make sure it happens as presented, or in any way you desire. Just let me know. That’s the only way we can ever cover everything without distractions.

This may sound patronizing, but the forum is enriched by your presence, as well as that of Rabbi. Some seem to have difficulty with the very concept of live and let live.

Point: AFAIK, no one here has committed any atrocity - with the possible exception of the stereotypical insults and thread derailing. So, I ask, what is the point? There are rabid, hate-filled political forums for that, if one is so inclined.

I find that life is too short for such nonsense.
