The end times are coming

We’ve all seen it. The world is becoming like the one of Noah’s time. I feel that God and the Holy Spirit have been telling me the time is coming very soon. I’m sure many of you agree that it is going to happen within the next 50 something years. This got me to thinking. What if during the tribulation, you refuse the mark of the beast. Because of this, some soldiers of the antichrist hold you down and forcefully administer it to you, (assuming it’s a tattoo or something). Would you still be damned to hell?
I can tell it’s coming.
Listen for those trumpets.
There are so many connections I constantly can make seeing stuff in the news, and I have to stop and wonder where the fulfillment of revelation stops and me being a nut starts.
Any thoughts on this?
 
People have been expecting the imminent end of the world for 2000 years now.

Mortal sin requires consent.
 
I’m trying to grow in faith and belief and come back fully to loving and believing in God I really hope it doesn’t happen before I have a chance to do that!
 
Christians were absolutely convinced that the year 1000 marked the end times. Christians were absolutely convinced that the 1500s and the Protestant Reformation marked the end times. The 19th and 20th centuries marked another wave of end times frenzy across Christendom. Basically in every time and place a good number of Christians have been convinced that the “end is nigh”.

God gave us signs of wars and rumors of wars, floods, storms, Tornadoes and Famines. We are wise to keep our lamps full, as the Bridegroom is coming. But, Jerusalem has to be recognized as the Capital of Israel by all. The Jews have a prophecy of a RED STEER. I forget a bull or cow. We are to have one world order that Trump has stopped. France and Britain will follow. Brexit gone. TAPP (?) not signed. England has gone back to the pound sterling. They stopped Euro.
Same currency is needed. Like Euro all over world. So, Trump put a damper on Satan’s plan.
When all countries recognize Jerusalem and one world order and currency—THEN, we are closer to end times.

I know for 100% sure that MY end is coming within, say, 30-40 years, if not sooner. That’s all one needs to know.
 
Ok then we should pray more often and do more acts of charity and prepare to be judged by God.
[from a personal perspective and reflection yes I believe it is very likely so but I do not understand the hysterics and the noise about this; are we gonna make more noise to drive God deaf even at the end? sorry, I just had to vent off this complaint not aimed at the OP personally just the whole frenzy of the Apocalypse (Revelation) on the net, people preparing plans of survival, people presenting survival as salvation and everyone chasing around the antichrist where is he - 🤐 I know where he is and I ain’t telling! :crazy_face:]
 
Hello.

Have you ever read “The Anti-Christ” by Fr. Vincent Miceli? I found it comforting after hearing a lot of random speculation on the end times.

My two cents.
 
England (& the rest of the UK) never adopted the Euro, their currency has always been Pound Sterling

As the Catechism teaches, the end truly is nigh.

It makes not a shred of difference whether “the end” for us is the Glorious Parousia or our own impending death - the outcome is the same - Judgment and Eternity. Either way, we are called to be always sober and vigilant, lest death snatch us unawares or the Lord return like a thief in the night.

Alright sorry I made a post when I was half asleep and I don’t have as much knowledge on the subject as I should. You guys don’t have to be jerks about it
 
There’s currently a dispute regarding Jerusalem and a lot of people don’t want to recognize it. I have read something about the reconstruction of the temple or something and how it means that it’s in the end times.

You’re talking about God feeding you this stuff, when Jesus Himself said “no one knows the day or the hour.” Whatever “revelations” you’re getting about the end times aren’t from God. Ergo, you should see a shrink.

The end times have been upon us since Christ’s resurrection. We are living in the end of days, they’re just going on longer than most people expected.

Christ has conquered death. Satan has been utterly defeated. What he believed to be his greatest achievement, the death of Jesus on the cross, was his ultimate undoing.

Each of us faces the end of our lives, our end of time, and it is that we must prepare for. If we are prepared for that, it really doesn’t matter when the second coming happens.

I clearly didn’t mean actual voices. I meant signs being like “Hey, be ready it could happen any time”

You do realize that you can just edit your posts, right? This isn’t a text message.

As for the rest of the post, yeah, the Gospel tells us quite clearly to always be ready, the end could come at any time. This isn’t anything new.
