Those mixes are just bisquick. like PC said.
If you have to supply all the things that make them delish, then just use your own bisquick dough. Much cheaper and makes tons more!
No Aldi’s in the Southwest I don’t think, I guess I’ve never seen one. 🤷‍♀️
I’ll look around.
They’re made specifically for making Cheddar Bay Biscuits.

With Bisquick, you can make also make other kinds of things, too. It’s an all-purpose type of a mix.

I don’t usually tend to have it on hand all that often.

I wouldn’t want to try and make pancakes with the Cheddar Bay mix. I’m teasing you, by the way! 😁 😉

I’m pretty sure cheddar bay biscuits ARE just bisquick.
I know I’ve made them that way, literally no difference. The restaurants have really gone downhill though. The biscuits are the only edible thing left on the menu.

Believe it or not… I got this idea in my head a couple of days ago that I was going to add extra milk to the Cheddar Bay mix and then put the batter in my waffle iron.

Gonna serve some kind of seafood like shrimp or crab in a mornay sauce on top.

That sounds good.

OOOO is that some kind of apple cake?

My friend from Church just gave me her grandmother’s pound cake recipe which is the best ever that I have ever had.
Would anyone like me to post it?

No response yet, but I’ll post it as a community service, LOL 😍

BEST Pound cake

3 cups sugar
2 sticks Land of Lakes butter (apparently her fave)
6 large eggs
3 cups sifted CAKE flour
1 cup heavy whipping cream
2 teaspoons vanilla

Cream together sugar and egg.
Add eggs one at a time, beating after each egg.
Add flour and cream, alternating, beginning and ending with flour. Beat until just mixed after each addition.
Add vanilla.

Put into a COLD oven.
Bake at 325 degrees.

Tube pan: Bake 1 hour and 25 min
2 loaf pans Bake 1 hour and 25 min
The small loaf pans: Bake for 45 mins This recipe makes 16 of those little loaves.

DO NOT OPEN OVEN while baking!
Put them in and forget until the timer goes off.

Honestly, they are heavenly.

Lily!! Please take a pic of a hunk, er…slice, of that when you cut it! It looks soooo good! 😋

I’m going to make that pound cake in the morning. Can’t wait!!! It’s so delicious with coffee
