Chocolate Cognac Bunt anyone? 🧐
 
Stop making me want cake! I’m trying to behave and eat a fruit or something.
 
I make a chocolate cake that looks like this!

It’s made with a Devil’s Food cake mix, then a box of Instant pudding mix that’s chocolate-flavored–your choice, and then you add some chocolate chips.

It comes out really thick and decadent. You can frost it or ice it if you want to too, or dust it with Confectioner’s/powdered sugar. 😋

Will iced cinnamon rolls do? ❤️

I’m going to make some for this weekend.

They’re the Rhodes kind, where they’re frozen yeast rolls and you let them rise overnight and then you bake them and ice them from an icing packet that comes with the rolls.

They’re not difficult to make at all. Just takes a little bit of time and effort, and they’re large and you get a dozen to the pan.
 
When I lived in upstate new york, there was an extremely good restaurant just about a block from my parish. No way I could have afforded a meal there regularly, but I’d just pop in and buy one of there desserts and take it home. Sometimes chocolate cake, sometimes whatever fresh fruit dish they had.

Speaking of, I’m hearing that dried berries are very good, and you can do it in your oven.

That’s the one thing I always like to make. It’s easy, but it always seems to impress people 😄 I like making it with those candy cane Hershey kisses in place of the chocolate chips. Peppermint fudge.

Sounds yummy, but I have acid reflux from time to time. Can’t eat minty things.
