His daughter on US business to China, obtained her own patents.
Clearly there is no " cashing in" laws for kids.
But it didn’t stop Trump from deploying Rudy, his two Russian Shrek’s that just got indicted, he fired an ambassador because her integrity would get in the way, involved yhe diplomatic Corp, and did something he did not do with Russia. Got caught directly leading the plan.

But the truth is, each investigation seemed like he was trying to make it happen. Including this.
After Russia, to take all the steps he did to use his office to find dirt is nuts. He can’t exactly say he is new to all of this on that issue

Who know, maybe the now criminal investigation by Durham is about that and Rudy should be very worried…don’t hold your breath though.

Look, im not disputing that anything was or was not a “stunt” but for you to claim that testimony comes before a transcript can be made, which is true in all cases, somehow proves your point is simply asinine.
 
Rudy was not. In fact those two Shrek Russian guys are indicted already and are not.
Manafort did lots of questionable things.
The campaign he worked on for president of UKRAINE resulted in that guy fleeing for Russian Assylum where he is now. He was a Putin puppet. Tried and convicted of TREASON.
MANAFORTS own kids wrote an article about him. It is online. Manafort proports to have organized something that set up his candidates opponents for a massacre. HIS MILLIONS INCLUDED BLOOD MONEY.
Manafort was fired by Trump when the truth of this history went public. No way to compare that activity with Biden’s son.
Manafort, even in the short time he was with Trump, arranged a meeting in NYC with a Putin oligharchs to give him internal campaign polling in BATTLEGROUND STATES and share campaign strategy in those states( essentially with Putin. )

Why give Putin that info? We still do not know the reason. The oligharch gave a dubious interview. Something about his " interest" in politics in general.
I ask, who in general desires internal polling data that you ever heard of? With a coincidence that: the Russians were interfering to help Trump and the particular states were the longshots in the rust belt.
We read about Trump being picked on. But I ask, why would you select Manafort? It asks for trouble. Especially when it is known Russia is helping him and Intel would ask why.
Why tell America no business in Russia when Trump Tower Moscow was in the works? Being unusually kind to Putin? Choosing Putin over our Intel community in Helsinki? As president. When Putin’s murderous conduct is raised, basically saying we do bad things also. Asking Russia for emails on TV and Russia actively searching within hours.
Then private secret meetings with Putin.
Then meeting with Russian " spies " I the Whitehouse and badmouthing to our 50 year enemy, the FBI director.
And on and on. One thing in isolation can be overlooked. The combination welcomes scrutiny.
Then when Russia is finally behind him, he involves Rudy and a shadow state department and the diplomatic Corp I a scheme to extort a statement from the UKRAINE leader for personal help against an opponent and a political election conspiracy theory. All for him.
Regardless of guilt, welcoming trouble is clearly generated by his choices. There is no grounds to claim victim.
Clinton might have had a consensual sex encounter and lied about it. Maybe impeach or not. But I never for a second thought him a victim. He invited his problem.

I want to know why you think that? I have 30+ years in courtrooms and I come to this with a bit more experience.
Many have no idea what’s going on, and no way to discern.
The call has been transcripts on TV. THE COMPLAINT. What I saw was a choice of privacy that included 46 fully engaged Republican house members asking questions just like Democrats.
No defendant participates in Grand jury testimony. They keep it private. A sound rule for sound reasons.
Witnesses testifying without knowing what others said, are historically more likely to tell the truth. Conversely handing prospective witnesses transcripts to study first can only currupt the truth finding. Which has to be the assumed motive.
Calling witnesses about Biden, confuses an impeachment proceeding of Trump.
Sure, great defense, as is anything confusing, prejudicial and of no probative value. That is precisely the defenses goal.
Ultimately, these are administration witnesses. Subject to discipline and retribution from their employer.
The GOP house members have an advantage, as they have access, to information before it is published in a depo.
Finally, once complete, there will be a public hearing. With cross.
 
Even though he seems to be a “never Trumper”, Napolitano would surely not disagree that there is really no comparison between a deposition and what the Dems are doing in their pre-impeachment “hearings”, and for the reasons I mentioned. That was my point.

Believe me, the founding fathers did not intend impeachment to be used to overturn an election, as a campaign strategy to rule out a candidate for an upcoming election or as a partisan inquiry.
