There, I fixed the broken link. Anyways, it is clear that no matter what evidence I post you will ignore it.
No, ignoring it would have meant I didn’t bother to read the information. I would still like something more than a story about fruit flies who had a specific gene injected into them, a possible pattern of SSA coming through the maternal lines. IOW how about a real live scientific journal?

Actually, as many Christians enjoy pointing out, the Greeks and Romans considered homosexual acts to be natural.
Natural for entertainment perhaps but not natural for marriage. Even in those communities where this was practiced, it was not a bonded relationship in the way today’s homosexuals would like us to imagine. Greek men married Greek women (that’s how you make more Greeks after all). Quite honestly women were valued mostly as broodmares and the idea of a friendship with a woman was pretty laughable at the time. These were communities of men and men were considered the superior being. Spartan men lived in a barracks type situation and were in all male communities. They would make visits home for purpose of procreation but they were pretty much trapped with other men. Sexual “needs” were fulfilled by other men, or more likely boys.

Episodal homosexual behavior in the absence of females or in a stressful situation is even seen in the animal kingdom. It doesn’t mean the animals or people are genetically homosexual, it just means they were in a particular environment…say a prison.

At any rate Greeks and Romans did a LOT of things that wouldn’t be acceptable now.

As promised earlier, here are the numbers for those uncomfortable with percentages. These numbers come from the John Jay report. The numbers here are the number of priests. For example, 991 priests are accused of abusing only minor females.

*Table 3.5.3 *GENDER OF ALLEGED VICTIMS,

BY NUMBER OF ALLEGED ABUSERS

Gender Count Percent of all

Male and Female 157 3.6%

Female only 991 22.6%

Male only 2,805 64%

Gender unknown 429 9.8%

Total 4,230 100%

usccb.org/nrb/johnjaystudy/cleric5.pdf
Zoot for discussion purposes the above percentages are not very revealing. I would suggest everyone hook up to this link and take a look at ALL of the information. There is a graph showing relative proportion of male/female victims by year (decades). As I suspected the female victims’ numbers were relatively even from beginning to end of the timeframe. For the males, there is a HUGE spike in the 1970s. So by number only it may look like there were significant numbers of female victims but the scandal, the suits and the abuses are virtually all related to the explosion of homosexual predators during the 70s.

Further there is a table that describes the act and the percentage of victims alleging a particular act. Some of these allegations are as minimal as “verbal” but ranging all the way up to homosexual rapes. I suspect that a young girl who had a priest make a suggestive remark is far less damaged than a young man forced to perform oral sex on a priest. IOW the straight percentages are but a fraction of the story here. The TABLE is very very graphic in showing the HUGE percentage of male victims vis a vis females. Everyone should read this report.

Of course everyone should read this report. I am amazed how few Catholics have done so.

However, it’s more instructive to go to the following link. It provids links to all the sections of the report. The link I provided with the above figures is only one section.

With any luck, all supporters of same-sex marriage in the US will flock to Candada and stay there.
oh no, don’t let that happen, or might just flee to the U.S where they actuallu have a leader.
I feel ashamed sometimes to be canadian because there are so much things that is turning canada into a multi cultural country with same sex marriage allowed and alot of other things.
I might just become american… i’ve been there and loved it but unfortunely i wasn’t able to stay…darn
