By attempting to apply the most basic of God’s law’s - to love my neighbor - and by thoughtful consideration of religious teachings (including those of the Catholic Church) which support it. I believe that is what God expects of me. It is an ongoing process.
You are just cherry picking scripture to see and hear what you desire to see and hear – to make the data fit your preconceived agenda or objective. You need to be honest and see what you are doing is a rationalization process and no matter what we say you are committed to having it “your way”.
Here is some scripture that you must ignore or rationalize away:
Matthew 5:28 but I say to you that everyone who looks at a woman with lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart.
Genesis 38:9-10 …so whenever he [Onan] lay with his brother’s wife, he spilled his semen on the ground to keep from producing offspring for his brother. 10 What he did was wicked in the LORD’s sight; so he put him to death also.
Hebrews 13:4 “Marriage should be honored by all, and the marriage bed kept pure, for God will judge the adulterer and the sexually immoral”
1 Cor 6:18 “Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a man commits are outside his body, but he who sins sexually sins against his own body.”
Romans 14:23 “Everything that does not come from faith is sin”
1 Cor 6:19-20 Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God?
You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body” .
1 Cor 6:9 Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals,

Can you explain viz the 1 Cor 6:20 verse how you come to the rationalization that masturbation honors God? Can you explain to us in your derived truth how self-sexual gratification is not a form of self-absorption or even homosexuality (having sex with one’s own gender in self – a context that can not be married and therefor can’t escape the label of “fornication”)?
We can also go to the early church apostolic fathers to see what they wrote on the matter but something tells me you are just fine with being on very thin ice and gambling your eternity for a few minutes of “selfish pleasure” when ever you feel a need to have your own hormone and endorphins “fix”.
As a calibration point do you think it is moral for a lactating mother to deprive her baby of her breast milk and feed herself?
Selfishness and self absorbtion are never moral.
