Agreed. We roast ours every year and it’s always moist and delicious. It only dries out if you cook it too long, or begin to carve it before it’s had a chance to rest, which allows the juices to re-distribute.If you start with a good quality turkey and cook it properly, it is definitely NOT dry!!

Deep fried turkey is delicious! My brother and his wife always roast a turkey for the sake of tradition and deep fry a turkey too, and I like the deep fried one better. It is wonderfully moist, flavorful and delicious every time. The roast turkey is moist and juicy too, but I think he injects the fried one with cajun seasoning before frying, so it is definitely a different taste treat than the traditional bird.
