Friends, I have been cut to the heart by a letter I received from Planned Parenthood.
In all my years, I have never received anything from them, but today, they ask ME
to donate!

The letter decribes all the “wonderful” things they support, their hopes and dreams
and successes from the Obama administration, and how that now even though the
entire government is against pro-lifers, they still won’t give up. These “insidious”
local people stop at nothing, and

The only reason they haven’t succeeded is because of people like you.

Well, I know what they meant. They mean “good” people who support planned
parenthood. But I also know what God meant me to think when I read that.
That maybe it’s people like me who haven’t done much lately, that are the cause
of the lack of success in the pro-life movement.

Also, the death of the “hero” George Tiller has strengthen the resolve and
determination to provide “compassionate” care to women.

And you know what makes people go in there even though they don’t need an
abortion? They’re just going for an annual check-up, cancer screening, pap smear,
which is provided to poor women who can’t get that anywhere else. So year after
year, these people get to learn how mean prolifers are, and by the time they want
an abortion, they have already decided who the good guys are. Maybe it would be
better to pray in front of a pregnancy help center until they can afford a 4-D
ultrasound machine. Those machines have been proven to save lives…

Anyway, thanks for listening…

Except that they are not free. They charge like everybody else unless you have insurance or medicaid. Once in a while they have a coupon day, or something. So, they are lying about that too. I know this because I called each and every one in my state with a questionnaire about just that subject.

Write them back, and tell them if it’s up to you, they will never succeed. 😉

I would simply write them back and let them know you are going to be praying the Rosary every single day for every one who works in that office. Then do it!

My fiance and I are thinking about finally getting more directly involved by praying in front of an abortion mill. It’s something we’re looking into, we’re already set to get involved “on the otherside” with a visit to birth choice which will include a “baby shower” gift to our local birth choice.

To date, my greatest involvement in pro-life has been on internet debates on secular forums where it comes up (mostly my high def forum). But clearly we all could be doing more, I think it’s about time for me to answer that call. Hopefully more of us will. I also like the idea of you writing them back, and praying a rosary for each of the employee’s in their office.

Thank you, Crazzeto.

We as a Pro-Life Movement have absolutely blown it. We have stood toe-to-toe and argued our Pro-Life “Political Bullets” and have accomplished (as St. John of the Cross would say) “nada!”

Instead, we need to center our efforts on Repentance and Penance. Convert their hearts. Win them over to Christ. Then, and only then, will they become true believers in the sanctity of life. BUT…we have to LOVE THEM INTO THE KINGDOM!!! And that’s where we have been missing the boat…and why we have failed.

Pax!

I’ll add that we need to take some queues out of their play books. We need to be tenatious, and most particularly (here’s where we fall falt) be willing to accept short term compramises as interum steps to attain a larger goal.

South Dekota let a bill which would have made all abortion except in the case of rape and incest be defeated because our team was split over the compramise. A previous effort was soundly beaten because it had no exception. If it passed South Dekota would have been the first state since Roe v. Wade to make abortion illegal. It would certainly have been challened by planned parenthood and I beleive (or hope at least) it would have been upheld. That would have given us a significant boost. Big oppertunity lost there.

WOW!

40 days for life isn’t over yet!! And even then, you can still pray outside clinics all year round.

Personally I have no doubt that abortuaries are demonic. You will know them by their fruits:( Fr. Euteneuer(the exorcist) has talked about how he exorcised one person who was outside a clinic protesting, but was really weak of faith and ended up being cursed by a worker inside, and ended up being possessed:eek:

I found out today that a girl I know just had an abortion:crying: I wonder if I’ll see people I know when I go there:eek: but on the wrong side of the sidewalk.

But it doesn’t hurt to expose the death merchants for who and what they are.

This is a scary story, how can a priest who is exorcising someone be possessed?
Isn’t everyone with the holy spirit protected?

The planned parenthood people are appalled by the success of pharmacies who
won’t prescribe birth control, so clearly that needs to be emphasized.

They really seem to take the prayers as not prayers, but attackers of innocent
people, most not getting abortions. And they see them as supporters of murder
of the “doctors”.

But what if there was a 4D ultrasound machine there, instead of a crowd of
rosaries? What are the chances of this?

Funny you should mention that. I got an e-mail recently that got me pumped and I would like to pass on to everyone. I really hope and pray these guys become successful in accomplishing their goal:

Project Ultrasound
(www.projectultrasound.org), a non-profit charity raising money for
crisis pregnancy centers to purchase ultrasound machines. 70-90% of
women who see an ultrasound at a cpc choose life.

We just want to make a real difference. Thanks
for your time.

Forward the letter to The Catholic League ( catholicleague.org/ ). I’m sure Bill Donohue would have a field day with them. 😉

I am sure there was a postage paid envelope along with the request.

Would it be unethical to use it to mail back a brick?

They did have a postage paid envelope. I mailed it back to them, crossing out
the word support in “you have my support” and put in the word “prayers”. Instead
of them having my “appreciation”, I crossed out and put the word “sorrow”.
I put in 0 for the amount of my donation. Then I signed it when they asked.
If this is some kind of scheme to find pro-life people and get their addresses,
then they might as well have mine now. Come what may, I want to stand up and
be counted for who I am!

I can’t forward it to anyone since I already threw away that evil thing I did not want
in my house. And thanks for that ulrasound info!

I attended a seminar PP gave at a Unitarian church with, sadly, the help of someone at the local Catholic church. They mixed it up with some legitimate things, like, helping Hatians. (Yeah, helping them contracept and abort themselves away). They made it all family style.

The keynote was the education chairman for the state. She was a dominatrix in her old life. She was advocating openness about “sexuality” in young children. I even got a booklet on how to do it, if you can believe it. The group I went with recorded the whole thing, which they did not like. Anyway, I signed on to get newsletters from them. Know thine enemy, as they say.

I’m also happy to say that, aside from those putting it on, there were about 10 people who attended it. And, about six of them were in my group.

I use the newsletter for numbers to call, which I do periodically, to let them know that they are not appreciated. I also share meetings and seminars. A nearby Frassati group infiltrated a meeting they were having, once. They really made some headway with that one.

We really need to step it up. But, I warn you, if you start doing this type of warfare, the enemy will hit back even harder. As Jesus taught us, know the cost before you begin.

Wasn’t the founder of PP doing it for racial reasons? I mean I thought I read somewhere she was trying to keep the black population down. I don’t want to open a can of worms if this is false so please correct me if I’m wrong. Thanks.
