Oh really, is that right? It’s mind-boggling to read such comments, especially ones written with such confidence.
Here are some examples of Islam treating women badly (Yes Islam! Since it is what the Quran teaches and/or what Muhammad teaches and/or exemplifies)
Men are allowed to hit their wives
Husbands may hit their wives even if the husbands merely fear highhandedness in their wives (note that that they only have to fear highandedness and they may hit them. In any case though, whether they are high handed or not it is wrong to hit your wife!)
[Quran] Sura 4:34
“…If you fear highhandedness from your wives, remind them [of the teaching of God], then ignore them when you go to bed,
then hit them. If they obey you, you have no right to act against them. God is most high and great.”
Muhammad consumated marriage with a nine year old girl (Aisha) when he was 54 years
Muhammad consumated marriage with a nine year old girl (Aisha) when he was 54 years old and thus not only commited this horrible act but set the precedent for future Muslims to be allowed to marry young girls (since according to Islam is a excellent/good exemplar)
[Quran] Sura 33:21
“Certainly you have in the Messenger of Allah an excellent exemplar for him who hopes in Allah and the latter day and remembers Allah much.”
[Hadith] Sahih Muslim Book 008, Number 3310:
'A’isha (Allah be pleased with her) reported: Allah’s Apostle (may peace be upon him) married me when I was six years old, and I was admitted to his house when I was nine years old.
[Hadith] Sahih Bukhari Volume 7, Book 62, Number 64
Narrated 'Aisha:
that the Prophet married her when she was six years old and he consummated his marriage when she was nine years old, and then she remained with him for nine years (i.e., till his death).
The Quran even permits men to men to marry prepubescent girls
[Quran] Sura 65:1,4
“O Prophet, when you (and the believers) divorce women, divorce them for their prescribed waiting-period and count the waiting-period accurately . . . 4 And if you are in doubt about those of your women who have despaired of menstruation, (you should know that) their waiting period is three months,
and the same applies to those who have not menstruated as yet. As for pregnant women, their period ends when they have delivered their burden.”
Maududi interprets the plain meaning of verse 4 like this:
“Therefore, making mention of the waiting-period for girls who have not yet menstruated,
clearly proves that it is not only permissible to give away the girl at this age but it is permissible for the husband to consummate marriage with her. Now, obviously no Muslim has the right to forbid a thing which the Qur’an has held as permissible.” (Maududi, vol. 5, p. 620, note 13, bold and underline emphasis added)

Slave-girls as sexual property in the Quran and Muslims can rape their slave-girls**
[Quran] Sura 23:5-6
“[Most certainly true believers] . . . guard their private parts scrupulously, 6 except with regard to their wives and
those who are legally in their possession, for in that case they shall not be blameworthy.”
[Quran] Sura 4:24
“And forbidden to you **are *wedded wives of other people *** except those who have fallen in your hands (as prisoners of war) . . .”
For proof of this claim (that slave-girls as sexual property in the Quran and Muslims can rape them their slave-girls)

So not only can they rape these slave girls, but even if these slaves girls have husbands they can still rape them!
[Hadith] Sunan Abu Dawud, Book V, Chapter 711, Number 2150
“Abu Sa’id al-Khudri said: The Apostle of Allah (may peace be upon him) sent a military expedition to Awtas on the occasion of the battle of Hunain. They met their enemy and fought with them. They defeated them and took them captives.** Some of the Companions of the Apostle of Allah (may peace be upon him) were reluctant to have intercourse with the female captives in the presence of their husbands who were unbelievers.** So Allah, the Exalted, send down the Qur’anic verse: “And all married women (are forbidden) unto you save those (captives) whom your right hand possess.”[Surah 4:24] …”
