praying the Holy Rosary has literally opened my heart and increased my love of Jesus. I now believe I am open to God’s will rather than my will. I continue to ask to be shown the way to Jesus.

I feel very lousy if I forget and miss a day so i say extra the next day. I love praying the Rosary and Divine Mercy Chaplet when walking as it seems like a private conversation to Jesus and Mary. Then I pray specifically for the Holy Souls in Purgatory. When things aren’t going your way or you are suffering offer it up for the souls in Purgatory.

It is by far the most powerful weapon known to man.

The strength of peace and redemption found in contemplations of the Rosary prayers has taken me far beyond any sense of the death of the enlightened soul, the atomic bomb represents the death of hope and the soul, the Rosary in all its beautiful glory is the hope and peace answer to all machinations and physical armaments.
By the love of God, by the interventions of Mary during the Rosary spiritual meditations we are touched by the absolute and pure love that is the Church.
The “Hail Mary” always makes me smile. What is greater than God is Love? No atomic bomb can kill the hope and majesty that is this faith, the holy Rosary is one of those things that has made me stronger, has given my own love a deeper embodiment in the Catholic Church.
Yes, I have been in spiritual conversion for over a year now and the joy still shines. One day I will be a true Catholic, one day in Easter not far away.
 
Lately, I have been praying the rosary pretty much daily out of obedience. I have not seen any atomic bomb properties yet, nor does it do anything for me, but I suppose that will come in time.

Perhaps when you die, Mary will come to you dressed in robes of Gold and thank you for your many rosaries.

Much to the point of this (old) thread, there is an excellent article about the atomic bomb which was dropped on Nagasaki, August 9, 1945 in the online version of Homiletics and Pastoral Review magazine.

Just as a hint, St. Francis Xavier was the first Christian to evangelize Japan and he arrived in Nagasiki on August 15, 1549, the Feast of the Assumption of Mary (hint hint). Japan surrendered on the Feast of the Assumption exactly 400 years later (hint hint). The atomic bomb exploded directly over the Urakami district, the heart and soul of Catholicism in Japan since the sixteenth century.

At midnight that night, our cathedral suddenly burst into flames and was consumed. At exactly the same time in the Imperial Palace, His Majesty the Emperor made known his sacred decision to end the war. On August 15, the Imperial Rescript, which put an end to the fighting, was formally promulgated, and the whole world saw the light of peace. August 15 is also the great feast of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary. It is significant, I believe, that the Urakami cathedral was dedicated to her. Mary was at work even in the atomic bomb dropped over Nagasaki. Stronger than the atomic bomb indeed.
