And I am also entitled to comment on what I have read. St Pope John Paul was one of the greatest popes the Church has ever had and is a saint, and it seems that things are being implied on this thread that are quite unsavoury. I am entitled to comment on this.

I never said you weren’t, Brendan. Your comments are welcome here as far as I’m concerned. You are as entitled to your opinion as the rest of us are.

We have a saying in the US, too: “The truth will out.” I was raised with this saying and taught to live a transparent life, to never do anything I wouldn’t want the world to know about. For the most part, I’ve kept to it, but being a sinful human, I’ve slipped up now and then in a big way, but I keep the saying in mind all the time.
