If you are young, I salute you for taking a stand against the contradictions and lies of the current President and his administration.
As for me, however, I have lived through worse: JFK, the Bay of Pigs and the Cuban Missile crisis, LBJ and the Vietnam War, Nixon and Watergate, Carter and the Iran Hostage crisis, Reagan and the Iran-Contra scandal, GWB and the Iraq War, Obama and the Wars in Afghanistan and Syria, not to mention domestic troubles. Our country has survived all of these administrations and we’ll survive the era of Trump as well.

I agree with your post. Yes, we shall survive, hopefully. But the examples of Putin, Orban, Gundogan, Kim and Xi are alarming. It is relatively easy for a demagogue to gain support. And quite difficult to rectify what they do.

Democrats back laws snuffing out a million, 1,000,000 lives a year, what a joke the first post is. That’s scary, I don’t see how others could not see that as scary. This is just fear-mongering. That is not going anywhere in the Bible as a model. In the Bible power flows from God to the sovereign, not the people, and the sovereign then conveys rights and power to men in his sole discretion. Retaining the right to disseminate all power as he chooses, and to recapture it if he chooses.
In terms of rights, it is life, liberty and persuit of happiness. Mammon is not happiness I would suggest.

It is widely understood that these measures are for the purpose of allowing medical staff,hospitals to not be overwhelmed by influx of very ill patients. We all know this virus will resurface one we open up the ability to go into the world.Hopefully this last several weeks will allow for a better basis for dealing with this virus.
You seem to think that opening the economy is being greedy and misdirected in terms of priorities.Its a straw man argument and I imagine solely for the purpose of bashing Trump.
