It is amazing what goes through this guy’s mind! Very democratic, eh? Majority win.
Don’t you realize what a poor copycat your Mohammad was? He wanted to copy the Jews but ignorant on why the Jews did it…

If Allah is Omnipotent, why do you need a center of direction anyway? I know the answer, “Because Allah said so…”**swariffin, that is no excuse for church not to have any center or direction of place of worship. Jews and christians and Muslims all believe that God is Omnipresent. Yet the Jews and Muslims have a direction. It proves that the religion of Jews and Muslims is right. The religion created by the earlier christians did not have any bearing.
They did not know anything. They did not know that their religion will spread all over the world and that christians will be praying all over the world. Otherwise (had they known it) they would have surely given you some direction. **
** swariffin, it is enough for us to do what Allah told us to do. You people are doing many things that nobody told you to do. That is (e.g.) believing that there are three gods in one God. Nobody said that to you. But you have made it up because you feel like that from the few verses of the bible. If Allah is Omnipotent, why do you need a center of direction anyway? I know the answer, “Because Allah said so…”
didn’t he do the same when he prefered camel meat against the pork meat when the Mosaic law prohibited both?
The Family of Imran… What is the significance of the Kaaba?
**Thanks swariffin. My only hope is now hanging on the Jews that they also believe God to be omnipresent. If they do then we can go to them and ask them “when God is omnipresent then why do you face to Jerusalem?.”At least the Jew can give a reasonable answer. Not just simply saying “God says so”.
I am really wonder about your consistency. You told me that you believe that God is omnipresent. That is why the Church never teach to pray to a specific place/object. Are you sure about your believe that Allah is omnipresent??
** rad, thanks for the help. It seems that in this matter of direction, Jews and christians and Muslims are united. But ancient christianity does they face east, orthodox christians do even now…toward jerusalem or the rising sun in the east ,were Christ the Son of God the true eternal light shall decend with a shout and a mighty trumphet,at his second coming as supreme lord and God to judge the living and the dead whose kingdom shall have no end…![]()

inJESUS;4418122:
the camel meat was forbidden as a punishment? what about the pork? not as a punishment but because Allah hates the animal? just who teaches you these things, who?some halal things were forbidden for Jews as punishment. Those were lawful for Muslims .
All the Islam threads seem to drift. SOmetimes, I think it is either more of a language issue or a lack of understanding how to discuss one topic at a time. This thread is still going on, is it?
What’s the topic du jour? It doesn’t seem to be the Qur’an anymore…
People are just so curious about Islam, I guess, that they can’t help asking their questions, even if they are off-topic…All the Islam threads seem to drift. SOmetimes, I think it is either more of a language issue or a lack of understanding how to discuss one topic at a time.
I am bad about leading conversations off topic because I ask about a point raised in a post. I do not do it to evade the question.People are just so curious about Islam, I guess, that they can’t help asking their questions, even if they are off-topic…![]()

Many times, that is why these threads drift. SOmeone will not know the answer or how to respond, so they change the topic.
no since you refuse to address the topic. This thread is still going on, is it?

My center of direction of prayer is to God, Planten. Is that clear enough to you? I believe God is omnipresent and you told me that you believe God is omnipresent too. So, i can face everywhere I want and anywhere I am, and still I will face God.** swariffin, it is enough for us to do what Allah told us to do. You people are doing many things that nobody told you to do. That is (e.g.) believing that there are three gods in one God. Nobody said that to you. But you have made it up because you feel like that from the few verses of the bible.
That is your own assumption/ deduction, not any advice or order from the God. Yet you do it. Why?
The reason for facing the Ka’abah is given in verses 140 to 152 of chapter 2 of Quran. It will be presented to you some time. But wait out please. The reason is given there and it is another miracle of the Quran.
It proves that the christians will, sometime later, raise this question and blame the Muslims for facing this way and that way. I want to know if Jews had a direction then why the Muslims cannot have a direction and center of prayers? Please do not give any flimsy reason / allowance for the Jews because you are not a Jew… Simply think over why you do not have any center of faith. Rome is not your center. Is it?**
Ok Planten, I will stay on your answer that “Allah said so…” In this case, my conclusion in my post #124 is correct. So, Allah ordered you to face to a building made of stone, called Kaaba, where Allah is not there. What is the reason? Wallahuallam according to you.**Thanks swariffin. My only hope is now hanging on the Jews that they also believe God to be omnipresent. If they do then we can go to them and ask them “when God is omnipresent then why do you face to Jerusalem?.”
I believe this matter of omnipresence has nothing to do with facing any place. You said that jews can give a reasonable answer. So can we. Who will decide that Jews answer is more reliable and that of Muslims is not enough reliable?. Will you decide that? Please give us some allowance too. Thanks.**
** swariffin, It is your wrong notion that you face Allah. The word used in Quran has double meaning. It has a physical meaning of facing… and another meaning to keep in mind…Ok Planten, I will stay on your answer that “Allah said so…” In this case, my conclusion in my post #124 is correct. So, Allah ordered you to face to a building made of stone, called Kaaba, where Allah is not there. What is the reason? Wallahuallam according to you.
