So I am watching television tonight and I get a full dose of America’s favorite lesbian…Rosie O’Donnell, who has decided that our Pope is pretty much the cause of all the wrong in the world.

Here, check this out:

It seems that the anti-Catholic movement has a new spokesperson…that of the lesbians who are really not happy about the whole “no gay marriage” and “no women priests” thing. Well, sorry Rosie if the gates of hell won’t stand against the Catholic Church, a two bit lesbian like you with minimal talent for anything other than showing what a moron you are is not going to have much luck either.

Viva Benedict!

I think that it is time that Catholics the world over took a stand on this ****. I am tired of hearing people tell us that we are wrong because we still follow the words of Christ.

People always have and will have problems with the Catholic Church. The real problem comes when you let her hate push you towards sin. The people who agree with her already believe the pope is evil. We should pray for her, since we know where her anger will send her.
Luke 6:22-23

22Blessed are you when men hate you, when they exclude you and insult you and reject your name as evil, because of the Son of Man. 23Rejoice in that day and leap for joy, because great is your reward in heaven. For that is how their fathers treated the prophets.

I think I’d be more alarmed if people like this loved the Pope! If they hate him this much, you know he’s on the right side of things.

Which is why Christ told us to rejoice when the world hates us. It shows that we are walking in truth!

God Bless Pope Benedict XVI.:angel1:

She is not my favorite lesbian - Ellen DeGeneres is. At least Ellen doesn’t shove the gay/lesbian agenda down our throats!

When the See of St. Rosie O’Donnell has been around for 2000 years call me.

The View is complete garbage. I avoid it come heck or high water because someone ALWAYS says something I find very offensive. I mean, every day! But what really gets that goat of mine is the audience clapping and raving at the blasphemy the way I imagine they did when the Romans threw St. Ignatius to the lions. It isn’t worth my time or anger.
You have to feel sorry for poor Rosie. Look at the people she surrounds herself with. With the poison being fed to her and her need for justification and validation to live the life she wants, is it any wonder? That isn’t to negate the personal responsibility she has to seek The Truth, however. But if she were surrounded with grounded, loving, well-catechised people we might be seeing her giving talks on EWTN! haha! But who knows? We may still yet!
I thought it was quite a revealing look into the state of her character when she stated she believed everyone was “a little bit gay”. If true, that would mean what she is doing (trying to stress sinful actions since having tendencies isn’t in itself sinful) is perfectly natural and therefore must be fine and good. I think she is far too defensive and bitter toward what she believes is Christianity to not be tormented behind that wall of hate.
So just pray (duh) and try to love her. But, it is easier to love her when you don’t have to hear her profaning what you hold sacred. Bonus: watch The Price Is Right instead! Bob! Bob! Bob!

Great post! Welcome to the forums 🙂

Rosie can say whatever she wants, but that is not going to change the pope or the church.

What can one expect from a visceral and angry agnostic? She needs an apple in her mouth to shut her up.

I’m so glad someone started a thread on this. I have to admit that I’ve lost my patience with Rosie O’Donnell. It was really lovely for awhile there when she was without a forum in which to spew her hateful and ignorant rhetoric. Now, every week it’s something else. O’Reilly did a piece on her tonight and that’s usually the way I find out about her rants. I can’t stomach the “View”. I am so disheartened by the audience response to her comments. I must be naive, but I can’t believe there are that many viewers watching daytime TV who are so anti-Christian. I have sent an e-mail to our dear friend via the View website. Will it do anything? It made me feel better!

She’s so silly. Sometimes I fantasize about being a guest on the View under the guise of someone they don’t expect is really a pissed off Catholic…And then in a fit of rage I duct-tape Rosie’s mouth shut. 🙂 In Christian love.

Rosie O’Donnell is one misguided woman. What is worse—she is more than likely—going to pass on that garbage to her children.

I sent an e-mail as well although I never watch that show. It’s sad that Rosie now has an open forum to rant out her views against all issues of her desire with no rebuttal.

I would love to be a guest though…no one attacks our courageous Pope in my presence.

I say let us all rejoice at being offended for the sake of God and then offer that joy to God so the Divine Mercy of Christ will transform hearts of all sinners including ourselves. I love when God takes the weakest and makes them strong… ie St. Paul, St. Augustine, St. Mary Magdalene. Don’t worry, Christ already won, nothing a blog can say will change that, more weep for the “dry wood” not when the 'green wood" is attacked. We need to complete the suffering of Christ so his kindgom will come. More sin means more grace and its just our duty to stay on our sturdy crosses.

Did anyone see the Oprah show a couple days ago, “Wives Confess They Are Gay?” The audience was all for the gay women and cheering them on.
