I sent an e-mail as well although I never watch that show. It’s sad that Rosie now has an open forum to rant out her views against all issues of her desire with no rebuttal.

I would love to be a guest though…no one attacks our courageous Pope in my presence.
Isn’t it simply convenient how she managed to keep her mouth shut when she had her own talk show and didn’t want to turn off viewers? As soon as her show ended she did a complete turn around.

At least Ellen has a pretty smile.
And she is pretty darn funny too.
I’ve never found Rosie funny, just loud and obnoxious.

So I am watching television tonight and I get a full dose of America’s favorite lesbian…Rosie O’Donnell, who has decided that our Pope is pretty much the cause of all the wrong in the world.

I challange Rosie and the View to make Islam as one of their talking points. Let us see how the viewers will take it.

I’m so glad someone started a thread on this. I have to admit that I’ve lost my patience with Rosie O’Donnell. It was really lovely for awhile there when she was without a forum in which to spew her hateful and ignorant rhetoric. Now, every week it’s something else. O’Reilly did a piece on her tonight and that’s usually the way I find out about her rants. I can’t stomach the “View”. I am so disheartened by the audience response to her comments. I must be naive, but I can’t believe there are that many viewers watching daytime TV who are so anti-Christian. I have sent an e-mail to our dear friend via the View website. Will it do anything? It made me feel better!
The audience is like sheep, the producer puts up signs that say “Clap” and the sheep clap.

She used her show as a soapbox for issues she wanted to be heard. Remember Tom Selleck! He was trying to promote his movie and she started to attack him on his NRA involvement. She is a loser!!!

She’s so silly. Sometimes I fantasize about being a guest on the View under the guise of someone they don’t expect is really a pissed off Catholic…And then in a fit of rage I duct-tape Rosie’s mouth shut. 🙂 In Christian love.
I laughed out loud at that one!

Did anyone see the Oprah show a couple days ago, “Wives Confess They Are Gay?” The audience was all for the gay women and cheering them on.
I try hard never to watch Oprah, but I do not doubt that what you are saying is true. You see, that is how it all starts. You begin talking about gays on your show as if it is the most normal thing in the world. You keep doing it day in and day out until your whole audience starts to believe you. Then, when your audiance goes to church and they hear the priest say that homosexual activity is sin, they have an internal conflict with the message of the church. This leads to division and is one of the many ways that secular society is attempting to kill the church and what she teaches. This is why we can’t just sit by and say, “Oh well, that is just Rosie the honked off lesbo…nobody listens to her.” The thing is, people do start to listen after a while. It is our job as Christians to defend the Church at all costs and at all times. Thus, I challenge everyone to call everyone you know and send an email to the View about this situation. We have a duty to stop this kind of thing.

Not to mention what comments like those do in the eyes of those who are anti-Catholic Christians.

We all need to do something about this.

I am sending my email right now.

For those of you who want to go send an email…here is the link to the show: abc.go.com/daytime/theview/index.html

If you do decide to send an email, do not waste your time sending one to Rosie…rather, send one to the “Ask the Viewmaster” link on the page, as that is the link to management of the show.

Do the world a favor and lets tell everybody we know to do this.

Speaking of The View…Isn’t Elizabeth Catholic? (The link in the above post is how I know her name. Though I think I heard this from my mom.)

I agree with this completely. With attacks all around, it would be impossible and utterly depressing to be constantly in defense mode. Yet some things are so outrageously offensive that one has to take action. I do fear that Rosie O’Donnell, who now has what may seem to be a “mainstream” platform, will cause many folks to question what they believe about the Church. Oprah, well, she’s a lost cause and I’ve expressed my low opinion of her enough of these forums. And while the danger Oprah poses exists mainly in the fact that she allows controversial issues and guests a podium on her stupid show, she generally refrains from expressing her own personal opinions. Rosie, however, is a lose cannon and a big mouth. I am so worried about this new documentary that is due to come out and the numbers of Catholic bashers that will rush to jump onto the band wagon. I am preparing for the onslaught as we speak!

Thanks for the link to The View Sadie. I sent 2 e-mails. Hopefully we will make a difference.😉

“Wherefore if forgers of money and other evil-doers are forthwith condemned to death by the secular authority, much more reason is there for heretics, as soon as they are convicted of heresy, to be not only excommunicated but even put to death.”

St. Thomas Aquinas

The artice says she made fun of the Eucharist.

What on earth did she say?!

Ellyn is hilarious and while I don’t watch her very often, I do sometimes tune it at the beginning just to watch her dance.
She makes me look like Ginger Rogers. 😃

Rosie is a very angry and troubled person. When someone is angry and troubled they make angry and troubling comments. It is very sad that she is so conflicted and lost in her life. I personally find her very off-putting, but she still needs our prayers.

While I don’t agree with Rosie’s lifestyle and can’t stand her big, obnoxious mouth, I don’t think that calling her names is very nice, either. Just my opinion.

Did I miss something? What documentary?
