Rosie is a very angry and troubled person. When someone is angry and troubled they make angry and troubling comments. It is very sad that she is so conflicted and lost in her life. I personally find her very off-putting, but she still needs our prayers.
Very true. She is one sick lady who needs prayer.

Can anyone tell me WHAT she said about the Eucharist? Did anyone watch it? I’ve searched youtube for clips but have found nothing.

I’d like to know myself. I have caught a few of the View’s shows, ages ago. I don’t watch it though. It’s nothing more than gossip and I have no use for gossip. I’d rather watch something like Diego. 😃

I did not see her say anything about the Eucharist. I did hear her attack the Pope as being one of the people responsible for child molestation in the priesthood. It seems that Papa Ben was one of the many people in charge of investigation of molestation by priests. What Rosie fails to mention was that Papa Ben had no problem being very harsh on such priests. Rosie, through her lack of research, makes it sound like the Pope supports child molestation.

Anybody see why I am angry yet?

Oh, I absolutely understand why you are angry! If I had seen the show I know I’d be really angry at what was said. I find it completely ironic how they refuse to attack Judaism and Islam but have no problem with Catholicism/Christianity. If you going to show respect for one group’s beliefs, then you need to show respect for all beliefs. But hey, what do I know.

Television stations love controversy, complaints equal ratings. The best response we got to advertising at a store I used to work at was on the Howard Stern show. Lots of complaints doubled our business. The Da Vinci Code got more press they ever could of bought. A quite protest of ignoring the show is the best response. Even an organized boycott just gets it in the news. Any attention will only help ratings.

This is just proof that hatred and anger towards the Church of God will be the liberal controlled media’s undoing.

She’s so silly. Sometimes I fantasize about being a guest on the View under the guise of someone they don’t expect is really a pissed off Catholic…And then in a fit of rage I duct-tape Rosie’s mouth shut. 🙂 In Christian love.
You never know, this just might work! 😉 My mother did this to me once. She was trying to vaccum and I would not quit talking. So, she taped my mouth shut so she could have some peace. Funny thing, she said I stood there the whole time without moving. Once she took the tape off I was back to talking. Apparently the tape had something in it that paralyzed me once it was over my mouth. 😉 Hmmm, it just might work. 👍

I don’t think it helps any to insult those who insult His Holiness or the Church. Is it good and holy to attack those who attack us?

Did anyone see the Oprah show a couple days ago, “Wives Confess They Are Gay?” The audience was all for the gay women and cheering them on.
Yeah, that show title is bordering on Maury-esque.

O’Donnell: “Oh, well it was big because my mother used to say when you have that Host in your mouth don’t let it touch your teeth because it was against (inaudible) so you know the pressure on the child getting it, you know the priest would put it right on your tongue and you’re [Rosie twists her face pretending to swallow it without having it touch her teeth]…Yeah, it was a lot. But anyways, cheers.”

Thanks, adrift!

Making fun of the Eucharist is about the only thing that I don’t tolerate kindly.

Though I have to ask… we’re not suspossed to let the Eucharist touch our teeth? Was this some pre-Vatican II thing?

I have never watched the View but unfortunately keep hearing about Rosie and her antics…I’m e-mailing today. We can’t sit by without making our “Views” known. Even if it does nothing to take her off the show, it will make me feel better.

The funny thing is that if we went on the View discussing the “sin” of homosexual acts, we would be called homophobes on the national news.

After I e-mailed the View I thought, why not contact advertisers?

Does anybody know how to get a list of advertisers for the View? E-mailing all the advertisers may make a statement as well.
