Hi
What would our friend ronyodish say on the above post?
Jesus could assert himself for his claims and reasons; he needed no Paul/s, in my opinion; I love Jesus for his wisdom. Jesus feared nobody except GodAllahYHWH whose humble servant Jesus was, in my opinion
Thanks
Say wha…?
Jesus loved His Father in Heaven.
He didn’t fear Him, nor did He have to.
When Lazarus was dead - Jesus pretty much said** ‘I want this - rise Lazarus.’**
’I’ meaning it was His power.
What’s the issue with Paul?
Paul hated Jesus **until **He was struck down by Him and made blind for three days. [After Jesus rose from the dead] and then Paul was filled with the Holy Spirit and he gained fortitude. Which is to say - along side the other gifts of the Holy Sprit - he was fearless in the face of all persecution.
It was because
Jesus Himself hand picked Paul who was formerly known as Saul until Jesus changed his name -** that he became an Apostle.** And he endured much persecution [as penance i am sure for killing Christians] for Jesus’s ministry while he lived.
And some say he endured the stigmata [which means wounds of Christ] in his lifetime. And he travelled spreading the Gospel. And he was jailed, beaten, and eventually martyred for Jesus’s Church.
Did he quit during that length of time to say he was kidding or that he didnt really get struck down?
Did he stop in the face of such horrible pain and chastizement? No.
He was carried thru by inordinate measures - that is to say the Holy Spirit led him. He - who was to preach to the gentiles
which the children of Abraham - the many Arabs were gentiles whom JESUS WANTED] - Paul gave up his whole life to obey the Spirit giving him the gifts he otherwise could not have done as a man.
He accepted the punishment.
And nothing did he teach was against what the Apostles believed.
Even Peter says [in the NT] that ppl wrest the scriptures and Epistles of Paul to their own desctruction.
IE - they dont understand them and they try to and then they believe them as they see fit which will lead to them to hell because by twisting them and changing them - they lose the truth of what is taught.
And in the end - Peter who accompanied Paul to Rome lived there preaching with Paul for 5 years…til they both were killed for the cause of Christ.
And at that - i suggest you NOT wrest the Epistles of Paul - but that’s not my advice - it’s Peter’s.
