wow…just…wow.

And these people didn’t even have health concerns, not that that makes it better. sigh

What’s wrong with kids? Oh, I know - to have them you have to give up your selfishness and put someone else first.

Now, don’t go thinking that I’m pointing out a speck around a log - I’m talking about myself up there. Which is why I’m trying to turn my life around. On the one hand, I like my freedom, but on the other hand, when you love someone so much that your love becomes a new life, that’s the most amazing thing, and it’s what God wants from us.

People don’t see babies as love brought to life anymore. They see them as objects to either be disposed of or had for one’s own interests.

This is pretty sad. What is just as sad, is there is not the broadcasting structure to get God’s truth out to the masses. Today’s media seems pretty aligned with satan’s message.

This was in one of our Sunday newspaper magazines a few weeks back. I just don’t get it. This generation has lost so much…but I do know the rest of the story…Jesus wins! That’s the hope for me. That somehow the world will be turned upside for the better because right now it feels like it’s upside down and backwards turned. God help us!

Yes, either mistakes or designer products. I can’t know what’s going on here. But keep in mind that anyone born since 1973 is in effect an abortion survivor. They were born because nobody decided to contracept them or abort them. And they missed out on a lot of brothers and sisters, to abortion or contraception. They are the lucky survivors. So maybe they are reflecting what they feel from their own parents. I don’t know.

People nowadays have such a blatant hatred for children.

I was part of a forum that was a very nice place. And I would post my creative writing on there and everyone loved it.

HOwever, I participated in a discussion about kids and I saw a HUGE amount of people on there that just said they ā€œhated the little demonsā€.
I saw more than one person say that if they spent any long period of time around kids under 4, they’d want to kill them!

I tried to be as delicate as possible in that situation, but someone came in and started bashing those anti-children people and I decided to turn it up a little alongside him. Of course I got punished for it (not the other guy) I had people insulting me (people who had been so nice before) and accused me of angrily insulting everyone on there because they don’t want to have kids…YET, I was actually as calm as I am now and simply offered up my opinion (with some facts in there. Though I never confused the two) in a non-threatening way because I didn’t want to get banned or something. I was just saying that their attitudes against the children themselves were horrible.

They cussed, and insulted, and whined. And of COURSE, the moderator had to be one of those kid haters and banned me.

Honestly? People like this shouldn’t have kids. They would probably resent them and then abuse them for taking away their freedom. Let them make the stupid choice to have a life that only leads backward in time, with nothing going into the future that is part of them or can do any good for the world when they are gone. Their loss.

Well probably not surprisingly I have a different view point here. I really donlt think it;s a big deal whether or not some people decide to have kids or not. The main problems I see from that article is people making the decision willy nilly with people they are not 100% really commited to. Then of course when they find a new significant other and that one really wants kids…they spent another few thousand getting it reversed! And I have to wonder how many end up with yet another person then get it done again! But I suppose some people just got money to throw around.

As for the selfish and kid hatred comments. Well to be fair a lot of parents had pretty selfish reasons for having kids too. And yeahing being GOOD parent requires sacrifices but being a parent doesn;t automatically mean you will be a GOOD parent if you know what I mean. As for the kid hatred thing…believe it or not not all people who donlt want children hate kids. I donlt want children and I still oogle over babies and dontl have a problem with well behaved children. I certainly have never wanted to kill any…though I have had the strong desire to duct tape the mouthes of several…

Well I agree that some of them would be bad parents, lets please not assume they all would be or worse that they would abuse their children. And as for leading a life that only leads backwards in time? How could a life lead backwards in time? And you know as much as I have thought about this choice and continue to think about it I do not think it is a stupid choice at all. In fact I think it is the smartest choice I have ever made.

You only leave a line behind you into time, not forward.
But I still donlt get it. I mean yeah obviously me and others like me donlt have a line going forward into time. But how could we go back in time? As I see it our line would just stop you know?

Honestly? People like this shouldn’t have kids…
Agreed. And further…not everyone capable of procreation should be a parent. If someone is that sure they don’t want to have children, they shouldn’t have them. Not sure why anyone else would bother getting worked up about it.

I don’t really like being around children in general, but I want to have kids. I think being a parent is far different than just being around lots of children. I went nutty when my teacher would force us to help out out at the school daycare, but I love hanging out with my younger cousins. Family is just different.

I can’t say I didn’t breath a sigh of relief that these people won’t reproduce. I’d feel bad for their kids.

Well, I guess evolution will take care of these folks! Can’t sustain a population with that kind of behavior…

Nah we will always exist! MUAHAHAH. cough sputter sputter clears throat err muah? šŸ˜› Besides I donlt think childfreedomness is a a genetic trait, šŸ˜›

But that Dr. Ross is a standup guy, isn’t he? His concern is overwhelming: "I will always tell young men that in my 38 years of practice, I’ve seen many men change their minds."

38 years and counting, he’s still doing vasectomies. he hasn’t changed his mind about that 6 or 7 figure income, i guess.

Why would he? Because some men change their minds? Some folks have plastic surgery then have it undone, that doesn’t make plastic surgeons reconsider their specialty.

I commend people who don’t want children who take steps (and this step is non-abortifacient) not to have them.

As for the no line going forward, what if that guy who does photography in the article leaves us some wonderful photos in his body of work? I don’t know whether Ansel Addams had children or not, but I would argue his body of work was far more important to succeeding generations than his children.

Not everyone’s vocation is to be a parent.
