Once again, your prayers have been heard. Although I often do not feel all that well immediately after treatment, I still possess the gift of life through the constant intercession of my brothers and sisters in Christ. For that I will be eternally grateful. My visit with the physician’s assistant today was brief and no issues came up. The recent scans revealed no problems. When I remember, I thank for Lord for each breath, as not one of them is guaranteed me. As well, I continue breathing as the result of the prayers of those who love Christ. May Lenten peace and spiritual growth be with each of you. Amen.

your Son accepted our sufferings to teach us the virtue of patience in human illness. Hear the prayers we offer for our sick brothers and sisters. May all who suffer pain, illness or disease realize that they are chosen to be saints, and know that they are joined to Christ in His sufferings for the salvation of the world, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, forevever and ever.

We lift up in prayer today our friend Jim who continues to carry the Cross with your son Jesus. We thank you for helping him to maintain strong faith, hope, and courage in the promise of your divine providence. We ask for your continued blessings and strength for Jim, and for comfort and consolation from your Holy Spirit for his family who loves him so much. Please bless all these dear people and hear the persistent prayers of your people for Jim in accordance with your Holy and perfect will.

We pray in the name of your beloved son Jesus, the Good Shepherd of your people.
