Father Baron said something interesting this evening on EWTN. He said the words of Jesus have POWER (emphasis mine). He was explaining what happens at the consecration when the priest says the words of Jesus and the bread and wine are changed into the body and blood of Jesus.
I was thinking of some of the examples Father Baron used, “Lazarus, come out!” and Lazarus came out of the tomb. “Little girl, arise!” and the girl came back to life.
I was wondering how many examples there must be that show that the words of Jesus have power… can anyone think of some? (It seems like a great exercise for Lent.)
