Not quite sure what your trying to say here. If you feel that the workers in your community are not doing their jobs. All you have to do is call the department heads. There is nothing they like more than cracking the whip. Believe me!

Taxes have not been cut since 2001 at which point they were cut for everyone-so much so that 43% of adults pay no federal income tax. The problem is not that the rich dont pay enough. the problrem is that 43% dont pay anyhting.
Union workers pay income tax, so I guess they’re not the problem.

I believe that political contributions to candidates come from PACs run by the unions. PAC contributions are completely voluntary and are not deducted from paychecks. Dues money does not go towards any candidates.
It is still my tax money paid to public unions that supports the candidates that support abortion. Also, having worked around and for unions my whole life, if you truly believe that all the money given to democratic candidates comes from PAC contributions , you are fooling yourself.
This is an interesting point of view. A public employee works and earns a paycheck and it’s STILL YOUR tax money.
The issue there is that the union due was required and not voluntary. This is where the governor would have a good argument for choice. He would also have a better case if he didn’t keep mentioning the need for budget cuts when the workers have already agreed to those. It’s dishonest and a textbook example of a straw man argument.
Abraham Lincoln said “You can’t help the poor by destroying the rich”. There’s only one tiny problem…he never actually said it. But he should have because it’s true.
I am trying to think of the last time a broke, poor person hired me to do anything.
That’s kind of where I am on this. The teachers, the unions, the governor, the Republicans and the Democrats have all taken the low road, which is why there is so much conflict.

Hope he has security?? What exactly does that mean? Is that a not-too-subtle threat? Isn’t this the same mentality of the “mob” that threatened the Republican, just being turned back on somebody she disagrees with? All I can say is this is the type of “reporting” I’ve come to expect from Ms. Malkin.
