It is amazing that now some have supposedly learned their lesson, but we know there will be a brand group that won’t vote for Trump
Believe me, I only wish that were our biggest problem. 😦

But enough about me. In view of your last post let me ask you, does it bother you at all that many Trump supporters will stay home if he isn’t the nominee (or perhaps write in DT)?

Thanks Joe.

For the record, CC was never my favorite. But if someone said to me “Christie was my first choice, but now I guess I should switch my vote to Trump” I’d say “Hey, don’t second guess yourself!”

👍

Here’s an interesting comment from an article about what a Trump supporter in Ohio said:
Mr. Trump’s problems are different. His supporters trust him, even in areas where he’s been inconsistent. At Slyman’s [Restaurant in Cleveland], Marlene Silverstein said that although she’s pro-choice, she plans to vote for Mr. Trump. If he gets the chance to appoint a justice to the Supreme Court, she believes he’ll choose someone who’s moderate on abortion. He used to be pro-choice, she explained, and “he’s a negotiator, so I think that might be something that he would be willing to negotiate.”

People seem to see what they want in the candidate they support whether this is justified or not. Some pro-life conservatives see Mr. Trump as a pro-life candidate while some pro-choice people think he’s going to be kind of pro-choice.

Ben Carson: Even if Trump’s a bad president, it’ll only be 4 years

“Even if Donald Trump turns out not to be such a great president, which I don’t think is the case, I think he’s going to surround himself with really good people, but even if he didn’t, we’re only looking at four years as opposed to multiple generations and perhaps the loss of the American dream forever,” Carson told Newsmax’s Steve Malzberg.

…
Is is “still very liquid” or is it all hot air? A lot can happen in four years. Look what happened at the start of George W. Bush’s administration.

He’s been bought off. He plans on being one of those really good people that surround Trump. What he doesn’t know is that if he has been offered something in exchange for supporting Trump, it’s a federal offense.

Actually, I think that will be a really good comparison…

Hey guys, what would ISIS’s reaction to a Trump victory be?

Haha this made me chuckle 😉
Thanks. Reading the good doctor’s words I had to ask myself if I wanted to just let them amuse me, or if I wanted to get into a debate about whether (in the purely hypothetical scenario of Trump becoming president) we’d be looking at “the loss of the American dream forever”. I chose amusement. 🙂

I truly pray you won’t have to find out.

I think it’s one of the main risks you could face if you elect Trump as president. He has basically incited Muslim hatred and inevitable retaliation.

But the list of risks is long.

Make America “great again”?? The complete opposite. I cannot fathom how people can fall for this man. It’s beyond rational belief. Why would any Americans want to make their country into a laughing stock (if it WAS actually funny, that is)?

Just my:twocents: from the outside… trying to look in and understand.

Its very early, but Trump is clobbering Rubio in Florida 48% to 24%. The end is nigh for Rubio.

If you think terrorists hate us because of trump, that’s beyond rational belief for me.
9/11 happened before trump.

Oh they hate us for sure after that Obama-Hillary arab spring. Wow, you couldn’t have tried and made a bigger mess in the middle east. Fires burning everywhere all the way up to Ukraine and down to africa. I love his ecumenical relationship with Iran, they call us the big satan. 🤷

Hey hows the JV team, contained yet? Growing still, is Joe Biden chasing them to the gates of hell still, hows that red-line in Syria doing??? How we doing with Obama and Kerry on Christian genocide, I see the democrats are rather silent on that??? O-Kay I actually have things to do.

Goodnight. 🙂

The last paragraph doesn’t make sense:

The Texas senator also said over the weekend that Hillary Clinton “would do even more damage” to the country and be “the lesser of two evils.”

Hillary would do “more damage” but still be “the lesser of two evils?”

Doesn’t make sense.
The reporter paraphrased Cruz, he obviously meant Clinton would do more damage and Trump is the lesser of evils.

Wow looks like Trump is winning Florida “and” Ohio but thats according to CNN. We all know how they are. “wink-wink”. Can’t imagine what all these people are thinking of after all those millions wasted by both parties. Wow, something. Can’t figure it out. OK I have to go

Good night! Hugs and prayers! 😉

Wise words.

But as a former Trump fan I can tell you exactly how people fall for it.

Trump is NOT a politician so people tired of politics go for him. This, you may notice, is a HUGE HUGE group of people, and SUDDENLY they started voting. Also he is clearly not PC. Which, clearly, makes him say stupid things, but in GENERAL, I think many people would say that not being PC is a good thing.

Also, immigration. Trump is more likely than anybody else to actually stop illegal immigration, so if you think that should be stopped, and it is one of your big issues, you might consider Trump.

THOSE TWO ISSUES are why people vote for Trump.

Why did I leave? Because of his ego. The value of his plans aside, he doesn’t really mean any of it. He just wants more power and money. Also, his stance on abortion is iffy to say the least.
