There’s a world of difference between being imperfect, which I confess to being to being simply heartless. And from my reading of your posts in the past weeks, you are simply heartless. How did you ever get the impression that love your neighbor means only love your fellow Americans, and hate illegals. What kind of CHRISTIAN is unable to sympathize with two people who have in been shot? Do the words love your enemy ring a bell?

Please, Please, for your own sake talk to a priest.

Dear…let me be clear here. I have never said that these people should not be treated…did I? I never said they should die…did I?But, yes, I will shed tears over my fellow citizens who do not have access to health care…except for the ER and then are stuck having to pay for the high fees and some even having to take out bankruptcy when they cannot pay them. The illegals who are treated will not have to pay…they will get charity care or skip out. Or do you think they will pay them:rotfl:

You really should talk about charity kendy…making this a personal attack against me does nothing for your views. 😉

It’s wrong that they crossed the border illegal. We should secure the border. But to I think it would be wrong to not treat those who were shot. I don’t agree with the abuse of the state emergency system, however to let someone die is NOT christian charity.

No, there are a lot of mean people in the world.

I would happy to talk to a priests about what about I said, but only if I can show him your posts. I am trying to think of any of the priests I know who would not be appalled by the things you post. In fact, I am meeting with m spiritual director this weekend, I will tell him all about it. 🙂

Your words about illegal immigrants are simply hateful. So, it’s now hateful for me to call hateful behavior what it is. This is exactly, the modern nonsense that people use to silence gospel. If you call homosexuality perversion, you are hateful. If you call abortion murder you are hateful. People seem unable to differentiate between hate and rebuke. I don’t hate you, but I find wat you have been saying intolerable.

Any Christian who could say what you have said deserves rebuke. I would have no problem sharing the contents of this conversation with ten priests, and my bishop, the pope, etc… Your words were unacceptable.

You were upset that these victims were being treated in American hospitals on tax payer dollars and said you would shed no tear over them. What are we supposed to make of that? Either you accept the fact that they have to be treated in American hospitals to save their lives or we can let them die. These are your only choices.

I am not trying to bait you. I have read your posts with shock over the past couple weeks, but I thought today you went to far and deserved an answer. I don’t say these words very lightly, but only because I think they needed to be said. You are of course free to toss them in the trash as you said you would earlier.

But I am not the kind of Christian who will ignore such things so I have said what I think needed to be said. What you do with your conscience is between you and God. I have done my part.

Do you realize that you are contradicting those posters who deny there is any even remote possibility that ANY “would-be terrorist” might even consider attempting to enter the United States by walking across the US-Mexican border. ???

How dare you challenge the “orthodoxy” of those who would prefer to protect the border with drones, UAV’s, and virtual reality.
