Reading the rest of you posts I see that you really don’t know much about what you are talking about with regards to the Church. I would be careful about making false claims, and basing your opinion on them.
I too follow Jesus. Why then do you and I come to different conclusions? (You will say it is because I follow “Rome” and to that I will then ask you why is it that your view differs from the next "Bible believing Christian?)
Jesus was no dummy, He knew what would happen if He left His people without a visible shepherd here on earth, we would all believe our own interpretations of things, which is what an unbias person will see what came from the Reformation (Deformation). No, Jesus did leave us with a visible Shepherd, Peter (“Peter, do you love me more than these? Feed my sheep…”) You believe that the Holy Spirit guides your interpretation when reading the Bible, why then could he not guide the one Christ intended, the one whom He gave the keys to?
