I’m glad they celebrate Harvey Milk Day. I saw Harvey Milk in San Francisco in February of 1978, only about nine months before he was assassinated by Dan White.

Perhaps because it’s part of an ideology that is being force-fed to innocent children, for starters. Children as young as kindergarten, in fact.

Yes indeed, and here in California, all you have to do is commit a felony, get sent to state prison, and the state will pay for your “sex change surgery.” The taxpayers will pay, that is.We’ll even pay for your new girly wardrobe!

I’ve seen all sorts of claims that while in his 30s, he engaged in sexual relationships with teenage boys. Is this accepted fact? I assume he was never charged with any kind of rape or such?

You mean the point that much of what is classified as “mental illness” and treated with powerful cocktails of unpredictable psychotropic drugs is actually “soul sickness?”

Would you trust the words of his biographer Randy Shilts, who wrote about then 33-year-old Milk’s statutory rape of a 16-year-old boy in The Mayor of Castro Street?
Not to mention Milk’s attempted seduction of another teenaged boy, Gerard Dols, whom MIlk attempted to lure into running away from his home in Minnesota… This has been confirmed by Dols himself on numerous occasions. Milk’s scheme was only thwarted when Dols’ parents found out and notified authorities.
Regardless of whether or not Milk was ever charged, where there’s this much smoke, there’s fire. He’s hardly deserving of a state school celebration day. But that’s California–the state that pays for convicted murderers to get their sex change operation “on the house.”

Would love to chat more, but I have a busy teaching day tomorrow, which requires my vigilance against the agenda to indoctrinate young children with the “transgender” insanity.

I don’t know the facts, hence my question - I’ve never heard of either of these persons until seeing them mentioned here. Publishing such a claim in a book certainly would carry a great deal of weight were it published during the lifetime of its subject, since then there is the opportunity to see the claim tested in court! Somewhat less weight when published after the subject’s death.
 
Happy to say I found no evidence of this activism afoot today in my classroom for the week. I prescreened the story I was asked to read to the class and it was about a disfigured boy dealing with acceptance. If there was a hidden agenda in it I missed it.

Watch out for “young adult” authors like Jandy Nelson on your child’s reading list, though. Homosexual porn. Not that kids should be exposed to heterosexual porn, either, obviously.

The kids will have a different teacher next year or the year after. So your vigilance will not do much good. 🤷

And you assume that teacher will indoctrinate them into the “transgender” mythology? Not too likely. And any teacher that would do that should have a millstone tied around their neck and be deep-sixed.
