As to you waking to read it - now come on - you admit that there are times when you do not wake till the afternoon - so do you really think that you are going to wake during the night and read it ?
Just be thankful you have LOTH and not the Eastern Hours to do .

The waking up in the afternoon thing. Thats cause I’m an insomniac with alot of homework and its during holidays
And, cause a Priest I’ve come to admire has told me to use discretion when it comes to acts of Piety, I probably shouldn’t anyway.
And to repeat, I’m not sure what the heck this office is. Its technical name is “Prayer during the day” in the UK version, its just three psalms with antiphons, is that the Matins/Office of readings?

“Prayer during the day” sounds like what we call “Daytime Prayer”. You can pray it in different ways. If you are praying daytime prayer only once, the selection of Psalms posted for Daytime Prayer in the Office of the Day is a good choice because it changes daily. For the other hours you use the “Complementary Psalmody” which appears after the office of Night Prayer. This section has the Psalmody for Midmorning, Midday, and Midafternoon prayer – Psalms are the Psalms of ascent (120-128). You may choose to use only these Psalms or you may use the Psalms posted with the Office of the Day for one of the hours. In the UK 1 Volume book , it is not there except for the Triduum ( Holy Thursday , Great and Holy Friday and Holy Saturday - with apologies for terminology - but with the Priest you mentioned you should be OK with that
)The Hours you mention , … Prayer before Noon , , Prayer at Midday ( without hunting out my book - buried in a pile of Liturgical stuff - am not too sure of correct name ) and Prayer after Noon equate to 3rd , 6th and 9th Hours.
Office of Readings for the UK only comes in the multi Volume set of the Divine Office BUT IIRC it’s a single Volume so if you are desperate to get it you can buy the 1 volume on it’s own - look it up on www.Amazon.co.uk - NO not dot Com as that will give you the Yank set of Divine Office and once more muddle you ]

Its called prayer during the day, so to make it reallly easy, is it Matins? That limits the needed response to one word. Yes or No. The responder may expand according to how they want, I just feel like I’m being troublesome, so I’m trying to make it easier.

pray for the time of day where you live. If you wake at noon, pray the office for mid-day. You can pray evening prayer whenever it is evening, more or less 6-7 oclock. You can pray night prayer just before you go to bed, no matter what time it is, or at midnight if you work nights. If you are not up in the morning, don’t worry about morning prayer. Office of readings can be said any time.
If it works better to adjust the schedule to your own workday, that is fine, too, when you are praying privately, but there is no need to, you can just office for the actual time of day.

it should not be something to worry about, but something to do with joy and love (even when you don’t feel like it or don’t have time for it). The best advice I can give a student is that if you consecrate an hour a day to prayer, and if you recite morning and evening prayer, night prayer, and the office of readings with time for reflection and meditation, that will be about an hour, all the rest of your time will be used well and be fruitful. If you neglect prayer, nothing else will go right during the day, and you will just get busier and busier with less to show for it.

You really are going to get more and more confused if you try and work from different approved versions of the Office.
Stick to UK OR Yank - the terminology and organisation is different.
Stop fretting and just do what you can.

Yeah - we know that and Twizted knows that - but he was getting Yank advice based on Yank books - and all that was doing was getting the poor wee overworked stressed student more confused.
