*Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with Thee. Blessed art Thou among women and blessed is the fruit of Thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. Amen. *

It’s great to hear your impressions,
AveSanteMaria. I am glad following the bishops has blessed you so, and it was lovely to hear your words about the Pope and Mary’s help in the Holocaust

.
Here’s the story you were looking for about the televized apparitions from Egypt. In my view, they’re some of the most phenomenal of all time. It was an incredible blessing to me.

Thanks Lief Erikson for sharing that link! It was a blessing to me as well

I also watched a video, I didn’t completely understand the video:
youtube.com/watch?v=S_X8l9OcEDI&mode=related&search= , but I heard the message and that was also a blessing.

I also wonder - did the Immaculate Heart of Mary choose Egypt for this unique miracle in order to show forgiveness for the Old Testament slavery in Egypt??
Thanks Cinette for bring up the Eucharist! I prayed the Most Holy Rosary only an hour ago, and read chapters of John in between my decades of the Rosary (I do that so I can focus on the mysteries and not get too distracted, impatient to finish). I think that I believed in the Eucharist (1) I returned to the Catholic church on faith, not sight, and it was a teaching so I accepted it without proof (2) I then learned about the Lanciano Eucharistic miracle that I posted about in an earlier post. In this miracle, a Catholic priest in A.D. 700 did not believe in the Eucharist, and then it turned into real flesh. This flesh was preserved and later analyzed by Dr. Oduardo Linoli, with an article published about the Eucharistic miracle in 1971 in a journal, Quad Sclavo Digan. This article is documented at
www.pubmed.gov, a service of the U.S. National Library of Medicine and the National Institutes of Health,
ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/4950729?ordinalpos=19&itool=EntrezSystem2.PEntrez.Pubmed.Pubmed_ResultsPanel.Pubmed_DefaultReportPanel.Pubmed_RVDocSum.
*Title: “Histological, immunological, and biochemiccal studies on the flesh and blood of the eucharistic miracle of Lanciano (8th century)” * Alas… the article is in Italian so I cannot read it, nor do I have access to the article as I do not currently have access to a University subscription. However, I hope to send a letter to Dr. Oduardo Linoli, who is still alive, hoping for an English transcription or an Italian transcription that I can later pay to translate. Several other sites contain information about this Eucharistic miracle:
therealpresence.org/eucharst/mir/lanciano.html and
zenit.org/article-12933?l=english and even without knowing all the facts presented on these sites, it is a miracle in and of itself that the flesh is surviving for over 1000 years.
(3) As was revealed to me today, the doctrine of real flesh and real blood is in the Bible, particularly in (John 6:25-59). Here is an excerpt: “I tell you the truth, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you. Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day. For my flesh is real food and my blood is real drink. Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me, and I in him. Just as the living Father sent me and I live because of the Father, so the one who feeds on me will live because of me. This is the bread that came down from heaven. Your forefathers ate manna and died, but he who feeds on this bread will live forever. He said this while teaching in the synagogue in Capernaum. On hearing it, many of his disciples said,
"This is a hard teacing. Who can accept it? … From this time, many of his disciples turned back and no longer followed him.”"
(John 6:53-60, 66)
I also hope that I am not being too arrogant by bring up the Magisterium again, but alas I am a sinner as well, so perhaps I am. If the Pope does not have the **keys to the kingdom **, then we Catholics are going down the wrong path!! "He also told them this parable, “Can a blind man lead a blind man? Will they not both fall into a pit?”
(Luke 6:39) There is some responsibility of anyone who wants to save us, to show us why the Pope should not be believed and Sola Scriptura should be accepted by itself, instead of in conjunction with the Magisterium and Sacred Tradition.
