*Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with Thee. Blessed art Thou among women and blessed is the fruit of Thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. Amen. *
That’s great Snowy! Cinette, I am sure that God is also blessing you for praying for him!!
More on the Eucharist to honor your request that we discuss the Eucharist, “Is not the cup of thanksgiving for which we give thanks a participation in the blood of Christ? And is not the bread that we break a participation in the body of Christ? Because there is one loaf, we, who are many, are one body, for we all partake of the one loaf.”
(1 Corinthians 10:16-17)
St. Margaret Mary Alacoque is the saint who received apparitions/revelations about the Devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. One of her confessors also wrote: Abandonment to Divine Providence. From
(Psalm 110:10) “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth forever.” Its a little worrisome to me that even nuns do not always go to Heaven directly and some go to hell, though their religious life obviously obtains them much merit. For further reference, here is the:

I wonder if the Catholic belief in Purgatory and different degrees of merit in Heaven explains the mystery of how it is necessary both to believe in the Sacred Heart of Jesus and devote ourselves to truly following him/understanding to best knowledge that we can obtain, rather than simply believe?? In my Rosary a few days ago, in between the decades, I also came about this passage from bible reading: “Brothers, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for the Israelites it that they may be saved. For I can testify about them that they are zealous for God, but their zeal is not based on knowledge. Since they did not know the righteousness that comes from God and sought to establish their own, they did not
submit to God’s righteousness. Christ is the end of the law so that there may be righteousness for everyone who believes.”
(Romans 10:1-2) I’ve been reading and praying a lot lately, because I think that the same thing can often be said of myself - I am zealous for God but my zeal is not based on knowledge.
As a hopefully intellectual person however, my zeal was based on partial knowledge. I read the Case for Christ, written by a former legal editor of the Chicago Legal Tribune and Master of Studies in Law graduate of Yale Law School and realized that there was real historical documentation for my belief in the Sacred Heart of Jesus. From then on, I applied my critical eye to the Church - and unable to find every opinion proven as well as the historical Jesus - I became very skeptical of the Roman Catholic Church and was soon led astray. But, in some sense, now science reaffirms my faith. I have took a computer theory class some time ago where I learned about NP-complete problems, (
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NP-complete) NP standing for Nondeterministic Polynomial Time, and realized that, as the literature stands now since 1971, we do not know how to solve any NP-complete problem in polynomial time, and all I needed to do to be able to give up on a problem in that particular class was to prove that it is NP-complete. There’s a 1 million dollar reward by the Clay Mathematics Time for being able to prove yes or no - these problems can or cannot be solved in polynomial time. So, if even in theoretical computer science/mathematics, problems cannot be solved - why should I worry that I cannot understand the Trinity in order to believe it is true? I am often blind and ignorant so please let me know if there are flaws that I can correct in this post.
